While Maya reminisces about their past, Shondra is revealed to be Rykon, a monster working for Trakeena, tasked with stealing the Galaxy Book. After an attempted heist, Maya is forced to confront her friend, leading to a heartbreaking battle when Shondra reveals her true form. Ultimately, the Power Rangers defeat Rykon with the combined power of the Megazords, proving Kendrix's suspicions correct and leaving Maya devastated by the betrayal of her friend.
