In this episode Jake + Nicci were again supposed to discuss Jakes recent traveling to Europe but go sidetracked discussing what influence actually looks like and why we settle for building movements instead of marriages. Jake + Nicci Interview two of their amazing friends Tommy + Krissi Green and discuss the difference between a "love break" and a "trust break", as well as how do you raise a stepchild with the influence of a former spouse that you don't agree with and when teenagers decide to rebel against the love and sacrifces you made for them.
Tommy + Krissi currently live in Salt Lake City where Tommy (former lead singer of Sleeping Giant) works as a Realtor for his “day job”, while singing for his new musical expression HOLY NAME, but more importantly they work together building Run Against Traffic, a non-profit foundation focused on raising funds for the long term aftercare of human trafficking victims. Krissi is currently writing her story of Run Against Traffic’s beginning and also leads theGreenSparrow.com, her ghostwriting company.

After Brian "Head" Welch left Korn to be a father to his daughter and help get his life back on track, he helped others while loosing everything himself. But a life-changing spiritual awakening freed him from a stranglehold of drugs and alcohol and prompted him to leave the highly successful nu-metal band KoRn in 2005. What followed was a decade-long trial by fire, from the perils of fathering a teen lost in depression and self-mutilation to the harsh realities of playing solo and surviving the shattering betrayal of a trusted friend. In this intensely inspiring redemption saga, perhaps most inspiring is Brian’s radical decision to rejoin KoRn and reconcile with the tribe of people he once considered family in the metal music scene. Brian returned to his musical roots with a clear head and a devoted heart. Though his story is wild, hilarious, and deeply poignant, the message is simple: God will love you into the freedom of being yourself, as long as you keep the relationship going and never, ever quit.
