In this episode,
Angus meets with Zach Glabman and they talk the age of LLMS, ChatGPT, authenticity in startups, and building trust.
What does it feel like to be the in the startup race long term? Especially when all the competition have raised more money and are getting more press?
Beck Miller, pillar of Laundry Lab / 2ULaundry, looks back on what made the difference in his success. The Flank team reflects on it's own state.
* How a team of bros discovered that moms were their ideal customer
* Pink vans
* Product Market Fit
* Bootstrapping credibility
* Scaling issues

Today the flank team meets with Angus's friend Harrison Marick, lead data scientist at Tiber Solutions.
On todays episode: Should Flank consult more to get people using the product? How are companies using AI (esp. LLMs) right now?

Neat idea: Chess club administrators struggle to keep tabs on 10 kids at once. They could use some help from software.
HUGE idea: There is a chess club at every school in the country. Only a tiny % of those teams play against other schools. It would be like if basketball teams never played against other schools, and all they did was practice. And if the players wanted to play against someone different, their only option was to go to the Y and play pickup with 35 year old men. There is a massive amount of pent up competitiveness living in every high school in the country, waiting to be unleashed.
Matt has a quintessential Flank use case (his co-founder needs to run a script but Matt is the gatekeeper). We talked Matt about it, and he also had interesting thoughts on the chess landscape, the current state of Flank, and what makes Rookly hard to build.
The problem with explaining Flank to people is that Flank can be used for many different things.
In todays meeting, the team meets with Julian Jordan and talks about the difficulty of messaging.
Mark started a company to solve a broken system -- the job market experience. He's at the one year mark, and the universe refuses to say "this is a good idea" or "this is a bad idea." Mark joins the Flank squad to talk about the startup game, the journey through the wilderness of low-signal, and looking for a job in our hopeless disconnected world. Good material in here!
For the very first time: the Flank daily meeting... recorded live!
