A short but sweet episode about how I'm navigating my faith and spirituality journey! As a born and raised Catholic it's been interesting to witness the similarities and differences of catholicism and christianity.
I moved completely away from the Church in my early 20s and instead found myself interested in nature, crystals, oracle cards, plant medicine, astrology and energy work. And I really loved being in this space!
But now as a married woman, coming to the close of my 20's I have found myself turning to God again, and this has been encouraged even more by my husband who wasn't raised religious at all.
It's been a nice time to explore it together and the most important thing for me is to not put any pressures on myself and to instead give myself grace.
Enjoy! x
One of my fave topics of all time, and that's because it is one of the first topics I ever chatted about on the podcast back in 2020!! Listen to episode two of the poddy here.
If you've been around for a while, you know I've unfortunately had some pretty bad burnout periods in my life and it's taken years to recover from them, and ultimately led to me quitting my job at the end of 2022 so I could focus on healing my nervous system.
Sometimes, it takes a drastic change to get back on track - I wouldn't like to think what my life would be like if I didn't do that though.
Enjoy this chat about what I've done over the years to unlearn hustle culture and how to not buy into it, especially as a girl.
I broke my hiatus of reading personal development books with one of the most popular books atm - The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins.
I had heard about the concept prior to reading and I thought it was a cool idea, and then I had the opportunity to read it in our book club.
There has been mixed reviews about this book but I really loved it so much! It has already brought SO MUCH PEACE into my life as someone that wants to fix things, make everything better, and often I try to control how other people react to certain things.
In the book you'll learn about the basics of the let them theory, and examples of how Mel has applied it to her life and then she expands further on the second part of the concept (which is very important) and thats the LET ME, but I'll leave you to listen to the episode (or read the book) to find out more about that.
Happy listening! xx
This one is for the guys and the gals!! One of my fave chats is women's hormones and our cycles because it wasn't something we were taught at school or by our parents.
We live in a man's world on their 24 hour cycles which is not how a women's body works at all, instead we have a 28-32 day cycle that resets every time we get our periods.
There are 4 phases within this cycle where we will feel tired, confident, happy, low energy etc depending on which one we're in.
Learning to cycle sync in combination with coming off birth control was th best thing I ever did for my health - I hope you learn a thing or two from this ep!! x
I wasn't a runner until I became a runner! I need to preface this, because anyone can be a runner if they want to be!
Used to loathe it, now I love it!
I don't touch on too much in the episode of what running means to me - but it really has been my lifeline.
The state of flow and calm I get to whilst running is so unmatched. I love pushing my body to new limits and seeing what I can achieve.
Running is 100% a mental game and I'd like to say that I'm doing a pretty good job at playing it.
I hope you enjoy this episode and it inspires at least one person to go for a run!!
It's so funny how a silly little book about dragons, fairies and magic can heal your inner child!
I remember reading fiction books as a child but I was never a hardcore bookworm, and then at high school and uni I dropped the habit all together because I was too busy reading textbooks.
In the last few years, I've found myself lost in fantasy worlds - what kickstarted it for me was the Colleen Hoover book 'It ends with us' and then I finally bit the bullet and read 'A court of thorns and roses' and now I'm a die hard fantasy book reader and I make everyone I know read the books!
There is a huge misconception that these books are smutty and that's all they are good for, but they make me feel like a girl again - they help me connect to my feminine, get lost in the world of magic, and connect with the characters (who are totally my friends) lol.
I hope you enjoy the ep and if you're a book girlly (or guy) too let me know what you're reading currently!!
Have you ever thought of buying a business? 75M baby boomers will retire by 2030. This is the generation that owns about 2/3 of all businesses.
And many of those business owners won't have a succession plan, and so if they don't sell, the business shuts down.
I've had my eye on businesses that are for sale in my local area for a while now and I'd love to make it as part of our wider wealth strategy.
I always used to turn my nose up at the idea of buying a business, as I wanted to build something from the ground up with my own blood, sweat and tears.
But this is the work hard mentality, and why can't I just work smart? Established businesses have all the systems set up, the brand reputation, the client base and the good will - they've got it all ready to go.
All you need to do is come in, modernise and automate and you've got a roaring successful business.
In this episode I chat about the idea of this, and what businesses I've been looking at purchasing over the past year.
It's fair to say that public speaking is hated by most of the population - you're on display, all eyes on you, your hearts racing, and palms are sweaty.
Sounds like a shit time to me.
Well those are all normal reactions to pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and getting on stage.
My public speaking journey starts when I was just 10 years old as Cinderella at my school production, next was when I was 16 years old and I became house leader at my high school , and then it was in my third year of uni when I won top of the class and $2.5k for my internship presentation.
No one is born with the ability to public speak, it's something you craft over time, and if you're an extroverted person, you might get a little kick out of the thrill, and the pre-stage nerves are worth the feeling of euphoria afterwards.
This is why I public speak.
Because I am so damn proud of myself every time I do it. I'm not the biggest fan of the task itself, but I love the confidence it instills in me and that's what we're chatting about today!
I can attribute most of my self confidence to the opportunities I have had to public speak and now I'm taking that to the next level this year with Toastmasters, tune in for a goodie.
Our big fish this year is the fact we are going to Europe!! I'm sorry what????? Literally won't believe it until I get there!
Living in little old New Zealand means going over to Europe is a once in a lifetime trip, I know we can go back later in life but the holiday will look very different (with kids, or older and luxury) we're never gonna do boujee on a budget again!
In this episode I run you through our budget, all the places we're going and how we're navigating this.
And when I say "we" I mean me hahaha. I am a type A girly and I do love this shizz but phew its a lot of work but will be so worth it!
If you don't want us to do another episode on how we saved / budgeted for this, let me know!
Helloooooooo it's meeee! I'm back with another chat woohoo. It's been a hot minute and I have a lot to update you all on.
Also how is it season 5? Isn't that insane!!! I've been doing this since 2020 and we've recorded over 111 episodes that's nuts and I am so proud of myself!
Hosting a podcast is a lot of hard work, iykyk, and at this stage in my life, my podcast acts as a bit of a brain dump, oral journal, life documentation so I can go back and listen to it again in 20+ years and criiiiinge, hehe jk!
So welcome back, those that have been around since the beginning, THANK YOU!! Literally means so much, hopefully you've learned a thing or two along the way. Much love xx
We are baaaack with another guest episode - I had the pleasure of chatting to Isabella Jansen who is a business advisor and coach.
Her entrepreneurial journey started in her early twenties, opening two massage clinics, before eventually selling her client base and launching her coaching business!
We chat about the challenges of entrepreneurship, what's involved with preparing a business for sale, leasing commercial property and the importance of having someone in your corner so that you don't go through business alone.
If you think back to yourself in 2019, and where you wanted to be in 5 years time, is that your current reality?
All going well, if you have dedicated your life to one of growth and alignment, you should essentially be, where you once dreamed of....
I was recently reminded in a podcast about how much can change in 5 years - so I took it as an opportunity to reflect on where I was in 2019 at th young age of 22, to where I am now at 27.
I also took it as a chance to envision where I want to be when I am 32, which will happen in the blink of an eye.
So tell me, where you do you want to in 5 years? Or should I say, who do you want to be?

This episode was so fun to record! I asked ChatGPT to analyse my birth chart with specific questions around my life purpose and the ideal location of where I should settle down.
Now I know ChatGPT answers based on a whole load of information and data but it's still so fun to use it as a tool in this way to help me to think about things differently.
It's answers have helped me ponder a lot and they act as good journal prompts too.
To follow what I did, head to Astroseek and input your birth information, download your chart and then upload it to ChatGPT with a prompt asking it to analyse your chart.
It also helps to repeat your birth information again too!Happy predicting / creating your future! xx

It's weird calling it a challenge because it's just my life now - but let's recap on my 8-week challenge to lose some weight and heal my gut.
I am so proud of myself for what I achieved, the discipline and new habits I created, and the information I educated myself on to ensure I continue to nourish my body in a happy and healthy way going forward.

Are you someone who lacks boundaries? Says yes to everything but doesn't actually sit back and think about whether this is something you want or have the capacity to do?
In this episode I chat to you about what having no boundaries has cost me, how I learned that I needed them, and what I started doing to implement them.
Then I chat a bit about rejection therapy which is something I have seen doing the rounds on tiktok - basically it's the idea of putting yourself in situations where you are likely to be rejected, sounds scary right?!

It's very common to let ourselves down first before anyone else, and that's because we often believe we don't deserve the best, we put everyone before ourselves and when something has to give, it usually is the commitments we make to oneself.
In this episode, we dive deep into the science behind keeping your word, why we do it, and how it leads to a tarnished self-trust.
Then we touch on, identifying when you need tough love and when you need to be kind to yourself because both are important! Enjoy the ep xo

Hello, my friends - in this episode, I share my financial journey from saving as a child, putting my scholarship money in term deposits, purchasing our first home, investing in shares, and now looking ahead to the future.
We've all grown up believing that speaking about money and wanting to earn money is taboo!
But we're slowly learning that this isn't the case - and having a plan in place to create wealth for you and your future family is the absolute bare minimum to get by.
I hope this episode inspires you to take your finances seriously, and at the very least, you should gain an understanding on your income versus expenses.

I can't believe that it's been a whole ass year since I left on my escapade to Colombia!!! That just blows my mind.
