A pause in praying through the Gospel of Mark to receive the gift of Jesus' arrival this Christmas day. Merry Christmas.

We arrive at the central moment in Mark's Gospel. "Who do you say I am?" Come pray the story.

Mark shows us remarkably parallel events in this chapter, beginning with another feeding in the desert. Listen and pray as Jesus uses a beautiful healing story to teach his disciples.

It seems that sometimes Jesus appreciates some verbal jousting rather than simple acquiescence. A bold woman approaches Jesus and will not take no for an answer. 

The Pharisees approach Jesus with yet another accusation. He uses the occasion to talk about aligning our inner selves with our presenting selves.
