In this episode, Tom Bruett (he/him) sits down with the brilliant and wildly creative Jayden Aubryn (they/them) - a therapist who blends movement, art, somatics, kink, and community care into a transformative approach to trauma healing. Together, they explore what holistic healing really looks like, why therapists must do their own internal work, and how joy, play, and embodied expression can become powerful tools for liberation.
Jayden breaks down the impact of systemic oppression on mental health, the unique challenges faced by queer and BIPOC communities, and why traditional talk therapy isn’t enough on its own. They share practical insights on building trust, cultivating safety, and making healing not just possible - but pleasurable, spacious, and fun.
If you’re a therapist, a healer, or someone on your own growth journey, this conversation is a must-listen.
