This episode is a simple check-in from right where I am.
We talk about hair growth, speed dating, pickleball, preparing for my upcoming performance—and whatever else happens to surface along the way. Nothing is planned and nothing needs to make sense. It’s just a conversation rooted in the moment, noticing what’s here without turning it into a lesson.
This episode isn’t about insight or outcomes. It’s about presence. About enjoying the small, ordinary details of life as they’re unfolding and letting that be enough.
A casual pause. A little laughter. A reminder that being here counts.
Mind the gap… don’t mind.
Have a blissful day.
In this episode, I sit down with Chantel Funk @chantel.funk salon owner, master hairstylist, and mom—to talk about navigating seasons of life that don’t come with a roadmap.
Chantel shares her experience moving through personal loss, supporting her child through a bone marrow transplant, and running a business while feeling stretched thin. We talk honestly about burnout, learning to slow down, and what it takes to stay grounded when life keeps asking more of you.
Out of these experiences, Chantel created Unbound—a body of work and programs designed to help women step out of survival mode, reconnect with themselves, and build confidence from the inside out.
In this conversation, she shares what Unbound really means to her, why it isn’t about fixing yourself, and how small shifts in self-trust can change everything.
This episode is for anyone who’s been holding it together for a long time and is ready for something more steady, more honest, and more sustainable
Today’s conversation is one I want to have more of.
It’s the kind of chat that moves effortlessly between the seen and the unseen: between career, creativity, motherhood, intuition, energy, and the moments in life that quietly change everything.
My guest today is Stefanie McAuley a writer, marketing strategist, and the founder of Broad World. On paper, she’s worked with some of the biggest brands on the planet—Nike, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Stella Artois, Benefit Cosmetics, and more. She’s lived on three continents, traveled to over fifty countries, worked in action sports, global media, tech, and publishing… and helped thousands of brands find their voice in an ever-changing world.
But that’s not why I invited her here.
I invited Stefanie because beneath the strategy and success is a woman deeply connected to intuition, energy, and life’s quieter truths. We talk about her near-death experience as a child, the windows of intuition that open when we’re willing to listen, and how her life has shifted from being purely career-driven to embracing motherhood, presence, and a more soulful way of being.
This isn’t a formal interview. It’s a real conversation about energy woven into everyday life, about trusting what you feel even when it doesn’t fit neatly into a job title, and about what happens when we let ourselves evolve.
So settle in. This is a conversation about life.
Welcome to another chat with Dear Diary and I...just a reflection of the weeks that have just passed with light discussion of two women going through it all!

In this episode, Dear Diary and I catch up on life lately. She shares her RV adventure with her husband—so much beauty, nature, and those sweet retirement-vibes starting to sneak in. I open up about the peaceful joy I'm discovering in the quiet spaces of life. It's all about appreciating the little things and finding connection in the calm.
Today, you’ll meet Danielle Sallam — a mystic human I’ve had the honour of witnessing unfold. Dani did both levels of energy training at Bliss, and it’s been pure joy watching her trust herself more deeply in this mysterious, beautiful world of energy as well as taking a giant leap of moving from Vancouver to Dubai.
She is now a sound healer. A space holder. A quiet guide who walks you back home — through stillness, vibration, and the tender medicine of meditation.
In this episode, we talk about healing. About what it means to grow, to listen, to follow that inner nudge, even when it is not what we want to hear. We dive into sound as a sacred tool, the rough patches and softness of moving to Dubai, and the wild wisdom of nature.
There’s a thread that runs through it all — self-trust, self-discovery, and that quiet, bright light we all carry inside.
Today, I’m sharing a glimmer of where I am in this wild journey—honestly and with realism.
I’m about halfway through my treatment. I’m in the valley, deep in the tough parts, but at the same time, I’m starting to see the light—and it’s shining with so much more brilliance than I ever expected.
I’ve heard it said that those who can feel the depths of sorrow are also capable of experiencing the truest love. And that’s becoming more and more real for me.
This journey is full of sharp edges and soft landings, unexpected grief, and surprising grace. And in sharing it, I hope to create space for truth—yours and mine.
