What does being a Chef teach you about social media?
According to Zachary Walker, VP of Social at The Motion Agency, a lot!
This was such an incredible episode! We cover so many topics about social media including how to gain a better understanding of your audience, the move B2B companies are making with Nano and Micro-Influencers, Employee Advocacy and the type of content that is more likely to capture the attention of your audience.
We even talk about how Zachary's time as a Chef taught him about connecting with his audience and learning how presentation matters. We even give a little shout out to Hulu and their new show, The Bear, which is a new favorite for us!
Welcome back to the Good News Podcast!
In this episode, we are joined by Emily Kohler, DailyVest partner, who focuses on lead generation and business development in Higher Education, working with universities and colleges to recruit their ideal candidates.
Emily discusses the similarities between B2B lead generation and recruiting professionals to graduate level programs and certifications. She explains that many colleges and universities focus on inbound lead generation through traditional marketing and that if they shift their approach, moving more to an human to human direct outbound marketing can radically change the game in program recruitment.
With all the hybrid approaches in their "niche" programs, getting the word out to the right candidates can be difficult. Having a more strategic, refined, human to human approach, enrollment can increase and program can find more success, earn more funding and no longer be "hidden gems" hoping to be discovered.
