Diary Entry #7: Embrace it | Welcome to The Honesty Circle 🩷✨I got braces… and as small as that sounds, it exposed something bigger. I don’t feel ugly...I just don’t feel like myself. And that feeling sent me straight into a conversation with God about identity, timing, and letting go of the version of myself I thought I was done becoming.
Lately God’s been reminding me that the assignment hasn’t changed just because the circumstances did. And maybe the discomfort, the revision, the repositioning isn’t punishment — it’s preparation.
This episode is about:
✨ embracing the process even when it messes with your timelines
✨ trusting God when you don’t recognize yourself in the mirror (literally or spiritually)
✨ releasing the image you had so you can receive what He’s forming
I almost didn’t record this because I didn’t feel confident being on camera. But we’re doing it scared. Still. If you’re in a season where things feel unfamiliar, unfinished, or uncomfortable… maybe it’s not delay. Maybe it’s revision.Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and leave a review! Diary Entry #6: Live it | Welcome to The Honesty Circle 🩷✨
You know that phrase, “What’s meant for me will be for me”? I’ve said it so many times, usually after something didn’t work out, as a way to comfort myself. But lately I’ve been asking: do I actually live like I believe that… or do I just say it to feel better?
In this episode, I’m catching you up on a few Honesty Circle updates (hello, Wednesday episodes 👋🏾), inviting you into a new monthly Bible study, and sharing how a simple Black Friday thrifting trip with my sister turned into a whole heart check about control, trust, and outcomes.
Her casual, faith-filled “If it’s meant for me, it’ll still be there” wasn’t a reaction after disappointment. It was her starting posture. And that hit me. Hard. Because I usually pull that phrase out when something doesn’t go my way, not before anything happens.
This week I talk about:
✨Saying “what’s meant for me will be for me” as a coping phrase vs. a lived conviction
✨How control and attachment to outcomes keep me from really trusting God
✨What “living like I believe it” looks like in real life: less tension, less anxiety, more rest and joy
If you’re tired of overthinking every outcome, replaying “what ifs,” or saying faith-filled phrases that you don’t actually feel anchored in yet… this episode is for you. I’m learning how to live like I believe God is good, intentional, and present before I see how it all works out, and I want that for you, too.

Diary Entry #5: very much stuck | Welcome to The Honesty Circle 🩷✨
Have you ever told God, “I’m surrendered… I’m yielded… I want Your will,” but still felt completely stuck? That’s where I’ve been. In this episode, I’m unpacking what it looks like to be submitted to God on the outside but secretly held back by fear, passivity, and a lack of action on the inside.
I share how I’ve swung between two extremes: Operating fully in my own strength, grind mode, and ambition (hello burnout 😅)Then, almost shutting everything down — my podcast, my business, my creativity — in the name of “waiting on God”
Somewhere in the middle of those extremes, God started showing me that my inaction was actually revealing a lack of faith. I say I trust Him, but am I moving like I believe Him?
This week I talk about:
✨Being “submitted and stuck” at the same time
✨Confusing passivity with surrender
✨Faith with works vs. faith with fear
If you’ve been scared to move, worried about slipping back into old patterns, or using “I’m just waiting on God” as a safe hiding place… this episode is for you. You’re not the only one trying to figure out what it looks like to obey God without losing yourself, your mental health, or your peace in the process.

Diary Entry #4: My plan = yikes | Welcome to The Honesty Circle🩷✨
I am such a planner, but lately I’ve been realizing that my need for control has kept me from experiencing a lot of joy.
In this episode, I’m sharing what I’ve been learning about finding joy when things don’t go “according to plan,” how God’s provision shows up in places I didn’t expect, and why His plan really does hit different when you finally recognize it’s better than your own.
I still make plans . I just don’t let the desired outcome control me anymore. This episode is part confession, part encouragement, and part reminder that trusting God isn’t the absence of planning… It’s the release of pressure.Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and leave a review! Diary Entry #3: Who is leading who? | Welcome to The Honesty Circle🩷✨
Recently, I had to pause and ask myself: what am I actually being led by?
For a long time, I prided myself on being emotionally intelligent. I’m very aware of how I feel, how others feel, and I’ve always honored those emotions. But lately, God’s been showing me that while feelings are important, they can’t always be the guide.

Welcome to The Honesty Circle🩷✨ I am excited for this refreshed version of the podcast, but I am also scared. I have had this podcast since I was 21 years old, and now, at 26, I am restarting it...again. So why am I scared? What am I scared of? And if I am scared, why am I here?
