As 2026 begins, we draw to a close a very successful season for the Iron with an unprecedented 95 points accumulated. On this week's episode Max and Barra discuss the player speculation with movement possible both inward and outward. Plenty of talk over whether Tyrell Sellars-Fleming will decide to stay and can we keep Oli Ewing?
As Andy Butler continues his contract negotiations with the club, we discuss how important he has been.

A look back at the 2-0 job done over Gateshead on Tuesday night. Yes, it wasn't a classic but we never looked in serious trouble.
The spy in the camp segment returns with Johnnie Lowrey, regular guest from Sutton United talktime on podcast and Published author. He gives his opinions on their season so far and explains where it has all gone wrong but remains positive of survival this season.

And that is a wrap for 2025, the year draws to a close but not before we deliver one final episode of the Iron Hour Podcast.
It gives us a chance to have a quick look back at the year and pull out so highs and lows that stood out over the last 12 months, who thought we would have been promoted after the defeat away at Radcliffe? (Not to mention the Not so good Friday defeat at King's Lynn). But this year can't be categorised as anything over than a huge success so well done to Andy Butler and his men.
We spend some time reviewing the boxing day masterclass away at Hartlepool, some stand out performances from TSF and of course Cal Roberts got us over the line. Maxi looked in all kinds of trouble against Whitehall but do we need to tighten up at the back? These late goals could start hurting us again if we aren't careful.
The spy in the camp returns with Dan Bell from the DB30 Sports Youtube channel and he gives his honest and frank assessment of their season so far and a look back at the failed bid to make the play off's in the past few seasons. Was it really a sliding doors moment?
Looking ahead to the final game of 2025, Barra and Marco give their predictions and discuss where this game will be won and lost.

Fresh from our appearance at the FCA's, the Iron Hour podcast deliver the latest episode of the season 4! That's 28 for the season! There's no London offices here, just a few scunny fans talking nonsense.
We take a deep dive into the recent happenings at Scunthorpe United and in particular Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Braintree Town, snatching a draw from the jaws of victory with that late goal conceded. It's a game of fine margins and if you don't put your chances away, you always leave the door open.
We look at the threadbare squad Buts is operating with and it's fair to say we are looking a bit light at the moment. Do we need a signing or 2 to freshen things up?
We take a good look at those Andy Butler post match comments - are you a boo boy? And we discuss the club statement regarding a reported racist incident.
The fan favourite segment spy in the camp is back and we welcome Dec from the Talkin' Alty podcast who helps us look ahead to Saturday's away fixture at Altrincham. An opposition that have actually been quite kind to the Iron in recent years, with us managing to pick up 4 points against them in that 22/23 relegation season.
