The leaders of major conferences and Notre Dame are feeling the pressure and are acting towards one another as they fight for dollars and prestige. A verbal battle has broken out between Notre Dame and their business , but not conference partner the ACC. They have working relationship that has become very tense the announcement of the 12 team College Football bracket was revealed to the world. Norte Dame making accusations, the ACC claiming they were only looking out for the conference best interest. Then out of nowhere the commissioner of the Big Xll came off the top rope with a vicious elbow to Notre Dame's Pride.  There behavior is not collegiate or exemplary.  As I tried wrap things up B1G news from the a school in the B1G. Again, one's behavior off the field is going to not derail if not crash a promising career, but cost many innocent people to the unemployment line. Today's Pod features 3 generations of Gopher Student Athletic workers. Brehz, Ben and Myself relive days of glory. LOL!  We all had different roles in the dept at different times, but we all have great experience's. From the 1980's, 1990's and 2000's, we all learned about working in college athletics and pain of being involved in Gopher Athletics. The 3 of us chatted our roles and what time that we worked there. We discussed the our opinions of where college sports land has change, where it is now and where it is going in the future. We talked about the major turn around of Indiana Football and could it  happen at other schools like Minnesota. What's the cost to have it happen if you've been a loser for so long. We laughed about Minnesota continue to not get it right and just be mediocre.  We moved our discussion to the CFP and what we  think is right and wrong about the sports biggest tourney and prize. What can college do to get better at over coming the issue that administrators now face. Lastly, we deal with Opt  Outs, Coaches, A.D.'s and players are now opting out of season play. Why are losing team being ask to fill spots. The story behind the scene that is not being fully explained by college leaders. It's ugly and they don't have a way to get ahold of it. Well the time has come to select the teams for the CFP and Fill the bracket. The Committee has shown once again that they screw up a one car funeral. The twist and turns to keep a dog and pony show alive on ESPN. One team that deserve to be in got left out and then went nuclear on the whole post season bit. One that got that didn't deserve to be in seems to be protected by it's past glory. Tweaking selection format only served to make a mess of the process. I begin todays show updating the world of CFB job news. How was the latest to join the high paid unemployment line. The number of dollars being burned could feed the hunger in the country. Today's episode is about how Schools in major college Football are shaped by the past and how they try continue to hang on to those beliefs. Even, with teams like Indiana, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech showing they way of the to the top of CFB. Many different people are caught in this loop of belief that the old way is the best way. I start the broadcast I do some quick hits on what's going on with College Football. Nothing earth shaking going just a few minor stories.  I start my interview today's Guest Mark Dusbabek, with trying figure out how long since we seen each other. At one point I got Mark disclose his present location and why he is there. to Mark was a Gopher Football player and a NFL player. I started the podcast with an update on the story of College basketball who continue to run a foul of the gambling rules. They are not betting, they are taking money from under world gamblers who offer these young money to fix their stats. So, the gamblers can take the inside info and bet on prop bets. I thought it would be a good idea to catch with an old friend and Co-Worker, who is still Coaching in College athletics today. I wanting to get the view of a Coach of a non-revenue sport or boots on the the ground as may say. The schools jumped the gun and let them go before the Grant House case was settled by Judge Wilkins.  Next, I touch on what CSC (College Sports Commission) is up to.
