Welcome Back to the Mini Series Glow up With God in a “ biblical sense “ . focusing on spiritual growth and aligning oneself with Christian values. Here are some steps to help you achieve a Christian glow up, including managing your weight in a healthy and faithful centered way.
1. Embrace Your Faith.
Daily prayer. Start your day with prayer and seek guidance and strength from God.
Bible study regularly, read and reflect on scripture to deepen your understanding and connection to your face.
2. Healthy eating habits.
Balanced diet focus on Whole Foods, like fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Avoid processed food and excessive sugar.
3. Physical activity.
Regular exercise incorporate activities you enjoy like dance walking cycling swimming. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise five times a week week.
Strength training, ladies it’s time to pick up the weights. Trust me you will not look bulky, but you will look lean. Strength training can help manage weight and overall improve our health.
4. Mental health and emotional well-being.
Positive mindset focus on positive thoughts and affirmations. Pray and meditate on scripture that reinforces your words and your purpose in Christ.
Stress management engaging activities that reduce stress such as prayer and spending time in nature.
5. Community and support.
Spiritual friendships surround yourself with like-minded ladies to share your faith and values
Church involvement participate in activities that you are drawn to women’s ministries children’s ministries media team.
Homework write out 5 affirmations. An example would be my fitness glow up is to walk 20 minutes a day..

Hey Ladies!!
It’s glow up season, but I’m putting a twist on it because we are going to Glow ✨Up In God.
Tomorrow, starts an exciting journey, and we are going to glow up by learning how to trust God by walking in FAITH!
I will share a few verses as examples for us to read pray and meditate on.
This week’s assignment will be to work our faith muscle by writing out an affirmation and taking action in something that we’ve been wanting to do.

WOW JUNE is upon us and we know what this means! Affirmation time! I have provided a list of powerful biblical affirmations to jump start your month.
Remember that affirmations work best when you read them daily and you repeat them at least twice. I suggest reading affirmations at the start of your day before anything else tries to enter your space.
I have also included a list of June activities. We are going to be outside this summer. Let’s take this opportunity to try something new and fun. You can either go on a solo date, a group date, or a date with your boo 😘

5 Ways To Care For Your Soul
1. Seek Spiritual Practices: Matthew 4:4
Many people find solace and meaning through spiritual practices like prayer, meditation, or reading religious texts. Engaging in these practices can help you connect with a sense of something larger than yourself and find a deeper sense of purpose and peace.
2. Walk By Faith: 2 Corinthians 5:7
Walk for 30 minutes a day and pray the word. Take time for prayer walks.
3. Seek His Peace Matthew 11:28
Ensure you get quality rest, rest trusting God to renew your strength.
4:Cast Your Hobbies: 1 Peter 5:7
Practice giving your stressors to God through prayer, meditation, or journaling.
5. Set Godly Goal: Proverbs 16:3
Set goals rooted in faith, and celebrate small victories with gratitude!

I will confess and praise you for you are fearful and wonderful and for the awful of my birth. Wonderful are your works and that my inner self knows right well .
This verse is a personal reminder that NO matter what I think; God has created and designed me in the most intricate way!

“ PERIMENOPAUSE “
Perimenopause is the transition period leading up to menopause, when a woman's ovaries gradually produce less estrogen and progesterone. It typically begins in the mid-40s and lasts for several years until menopause occurs but can start as early as 30.
I feel like this is a topic that needs to be discussed more frequently. So, why not start with me.

On this episode I will share a few powerful affirmations. How many of you know that growing takes lots of practice. Learning takes lots if practice and so do new behaviors.
Affirmations are no different. In order to for them to work, you must practice them.
I recommend you repeat each affirmation twice. Choose a time of day when it’s quiet and you can focus. This is your time. Mornings work for me but evenings might be better for you.
