Join me and my guest Cpt Steve Coates from the bucket of chum podcast as we discuss once again this month a movie that does not get talked about anywhere near as much as it should.
Don't breathe is a fantastic movie and another prime example of the type of movies that I love talking about on this podcast
it's a very stylised, creative and a very unpredictable tension driven horror created by Fede Alvarez who you may know from directing evil dead from 2013
This is a proper in-depth and fun discussion and of course we talk a lot about the turkey baster scene
Remember to listen right to the end for a first time horror movie memory that was sent over from a member of this fantastic horror community

Join me and my Brett Parker brother from another mother from the dissect that film podcast as we have a super fun and in-depth conversation all about the Hitcher from 1986
The Hitcher is a movie that as we both discuss is incredibly under appreciated and is nowhere near talked about enough
it has one of the most evil onscreen performances of all time from the legendary Rutger Hauer it is also a cinematically gorgeous movie and also it is a movie that builds up this very sadistic tension and dread throughout
So if you haven't seen the hitcher yet then make sure you do but either way enjoy this episode all about it.
Be sure to listen right to the end to hear a first time horror movie memory that was sent over to me from someone that's part of this fantastic horror community.

Join me and my guest Erik from the fantastic Cradle to the Grave podcast as we have a proper fun and in-depth chat about a movie that is so important and integral to the horror genre
This movie is loved by many but I still believe that the impact and the importance that this movie had all the way back in 1968 is still understated and we talk about it all
Sure, we’ve had horror for a long long time before this movie but is this movie The reason that we have the type of horror movies that we have today?
As usual be sure to listen right to the end to hear some first time horror movie memories that were sent over to me and of course Erik shares his also

Join me and my guest Darren from The Undead Symphony podcast as we caht about another movie thats a prime example with what im trying to do with the podcast for 2025.
Cooties is another movie im chatting about that neevr guest spoken about and its its difficult to see why as its a very rare movie that actually nails what a horror comdey should be.
It's a very funny movie that when it gets to the horror moments, it really goes there, but it also has a cast with a lot of familiar favourites such as Elijah Wood and Rainn Wilson and it's even written by Leigh Whannell who also appears in this movie playing in my view one of the best horror characters of all time that's how good he is in this movie and that's how good this movie is.
So if you haven't seen cooties yet then go watch it and I truly hope you enjoy it as much as we do, but we talk all about all of this in the episode.
Be sure to listen right to the end for the segment your first time someone has sent me over a first time horror movie memory to read out for you.

join me and my guest Becky from the girl and the gay Movie podcast as well as on Instagram she is this.girl.loves.horror as we chat about a movie that we both absolutely love and we love it for a lot of reasons and we talk about it all in the episode
ready or not is a movie that still hasn't hit the heights that it should do because it's a movie that we both feel is very universal. of course it's a horror film for horror fans but it can be a film for everyone so we wanted to talk in depth all about it and hopefully it will help spread the word to a few more people if they don't know about this movie.

Join me and my guest Paul from Nerdy up North as we chat about Cloverfield
This movie is one of the best examples out there for the Hand Held format is used to tell a story and to be on a Journey with and what a journey it is
its not a movie thats full ghost, ghouls, goblins, gore and guts but it is still a horror aswell plays its part in many other genres aswell but the brilliant thing about it all is that its all subjective and Cloverfield is definitely a movie that walks that line.
Be sure tio listen to all the episode to hear a first time horror movie memory that was sent over to me to read

this year on the show I'm planning to try and do my best to deliver you more diversity in the movies we talk about and this movie is definitely one that ticks that box.

This is a movie that I always knew at some point I would get to but wasn't in a massive rush but then Lindsay had added it to her list of movies she'd like to talk about and I thought why not so this episode is essentially my first reactions to seeing the movie and it was really good fun to talk about.
