December 30, 2025 - Feeling the Cheeziest against Michigan

The No. 13 Texas Longhorns will be without some key players when they head to Florida to take on the Michigan Wolverines, who are somehow even more in flux.

They recently named Kyle Wittingham as their permanent head coach, who will take over for Biff Pogi, who led the charge following Sherrone Moore's firing earlier in December. They will be missing their two best pass rushers, an NFL-caliber offensive lineman, and will have a new playcaller for the offense.

What does that mean for the matchup and will Texas get to 10 wins this year?

December 16, 2025 - Texas falls to Wisconsin in the NCAA Tournament

The Texas Longhorns had high hopes for the NCAA Postseason and fell just a few games short of that, falling to the Wisconsin Badgers in the Round of 8.

It was an uncharacteristically sloppy game for Texas, which Wisconsin took advantage of and nearly swept the Longhorns on their home court. Texas battled back, but couldn't withstand the Badgers' offense and fell short.

December 2, 2025 - Texas decisively takes down Texas A&M

For the second year in a row, the Texas Longhorns came out of the Black Friday matchup with a convincing win over their rival, the Texas A&M Aggies.

Texas dominated the second half, taking advantage of the Aggies' aggression on defense and turning it into their best running performance of the year. Defensively, Texas managed to bottle up one of the most explosive offenses in the country and turned over quarterback Marcel Reed on consecutive plays to seal the game.

November 26, 2025 -Big stakes on the Lone Star Showdown

The recently renewed rivalry game between Texas and Texas A&M always has big stakes, but this year's edition is even bigger.

For Texas, a win over the Aggies will give the CFP committee a lot to think about when it comes to decision time. For Texas A&M, cementing an undefeated regular season with a win over a hated rival would be the icing on the sweetest cake.

November 25, 2025 - Texas rolls against Arkansas

The first of two home rivalry matchups went the Texas Longhorns' way, with Arch Manning turning in a career night against the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Longhorns' best offensive performance of the year.

Manning found his receivers early and often, needing to get the offense going in a hurry to counteract the defense's continued struggles against the potent Arkansas offense.

November 18, 2025 - Georgia Again Dominates Texas

For the third time in the last two seasons, the Texas Longhorns have squared off with the Georgia Bulldogs and came away with a loss.

Kirby Smart and his staff once again ran circles around Steve Sarkisian and Texas was unable to find its way in the game. A disastrous fourth quarter took what was once a tight game and turned it into a blowout.

So where does Texas go from here?

November 13, 2025 - Texas travels to Georgia

The No. 10 Texas Longhorns seemingly control their path to the College Football Playoff, and that path is simple: Win and you're in.

That run starts on Saturday as they head to Athens, GA, to take on a Georgia Bulldogs squad that is looking to close out its SEC slate and keep itself alive for the conference title. They've had to eek out a few close wins over the last few weeks, but a win is a win and they have won all but one contest this year, an early-season matchup against Alabama.

What do we see as the keys to victory for Texas and can they get it done on the road?

November 11, 2025 - Texas surprises on the hardwood to open the season

The Texas Longhorns men's and women's basketball teams both tipped off the 2025-26 seasons over the weekend, with positive showings from both squads.

While the men split the weekend 1-1, Texas led after one half against a Duke team that will likely play for a national championship. The Blue Devils got hot late and put away Texas, but the Longhorns reobunded quickly and got a big ranked win.

The ladies picked up right where they left off last year, with three dominant wins to open the season and put the world on notice. Can Texas really compete for a spot in the national championship game and avenge last season's struggles?

November 4, 2025: Texas holds off Vanderbilt

The Texas Longhorns' penchant for late-game fireworks nearly cost them yet again, leaving a window for Vanderbilt to try and recover an onside kick to send the game to overtime.

Texas put up a huge number early and led by multiple scores for most of the game, but a combination of blown coverage and poor officiating left the door open. What can Texas fix going into the bye week to set themselves up for success against Georgia?

The Texas Longhorns were a team in need of a decisive win to keep their season on the right track and got exactly what they needed against the Oklahoma Sooners.

Texas continued its streak of defensive dominance against the Sooners, holding them without an offensive touchdown in three of the last four matchups. The Longhorns' offense didn't set the world on fire, but did exactly what they needed to win the game and keep the Goldent Hat in Austin.

October 9, 2025 - Red River Preview

The Texas Longhorns come into the Cotton Bowl unranked with their backs against the wall.

After looking completely outmatched against the Florida Gators, Texas cannot afford to drop another game and fall to 3-3 on the year. Not only will it eliminate them from this year's CFP contention, but it will arrest the momentum they seemingly built after two trips to the postseason.
