On this week’s show, we discussed West Bromwich Albion’s survival chances after they secured back-to-back league victories for the first time this season with a 3-0 win over Southampton. Matheus Pereira, Matt Phillips and Callum Robinson all grabbed a goal against the Saints at the Hawthorns, but the Baggies could have scored more than three on another day.
There were also important victories at the weekend for Wolverhampton Wanderers, who ended their five-game winless run at Craven Cottage, and for Burton Albion, who defeated promotion-chasing Portsmouth in League One.
