On this week’s show, we reflected on a jam-packed weekend of football for all 13 Midlands clubs.
The standout result of the weekend was achieved by West Bromwich Albion, who were 5-2 victors over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Matheus Pereira and Callum Robinson netted two goals each for the Baggies to keep their faint Premier League survival hopes alive.
Chris Hughton’s Nottingham Forest produced two excellent performances to defeat both Cardiff City and QPR in the Championship. Loanees Filip Krovinovic and James Garner stood out in particular for the Reds, but will they be able to secure the pair’s services for next season?
