On this week’s episode, we highlighted Port Vale’s fantastic recent run of form when playing on home soil. The Valiants’ 3-0 triumph over Colchester United last Saturday was their fifth straight win at Vale Park, and as a result, Darrell Clarke’s side currently sit second in League Two, with only Forest Green Rovers above them in the table.
We also reflected on an important weekend for West Bromwich Albion, who returned to winning ways in the Championship by beating Bristol City 3-0 at the Hawthorns. Karlan Grant found the net for the third consecutive match in the victory over the Robins, while striker Jordan Hugill scored his first goal for the Baggies since joining on loan from Norwich City.
