There is a wide range of cosmetics available to men, from moisturizers and hair gel to "guyliner" and concealer and full-on face paint. Why do some men choose to use cosmetics and makeup? Wes and Liam are joined by their long-time friend and fashion icon Billy, who shares his perspective on embracing his creative side through the application of cosmetics.

History of men in makeup:
The media, especially movies and television, are a common source of style inspiration for many men - including our Dandies. But which characters are truly epitomizing the ethos of having an obsession with elegance, and which are merely fashionable, trendy, or even (gasp!) just gauche? Wes and Liam roam through the reels and survey the scenes of recent releases to pick out their favourite (and sometimes controversial) Dandy moments.
Moving abroad is a dream for many people, but the reality of adapting to a new country and culture can be challenging. Wes, who moved to Austin during the pandemic, is joined by James and Liam to discuss their experiences with their respective moves to Japan and Portugal.
The color pink is often avoided, maligned or misinterpreted in modern men’s style. But why, and when did this become a thing? As a color, it comes in such a wide range of hues and tones it can often be deeply flattering. The Dandies are joined by Natty Adams to explore whether men should still be concerned about the preconceptions and stereotypes of pink or lean into it as a bold and expressive option of their individuality and identity … and, of course, delve in the mystery of why red foxhunters' jackets are called “Pinks”.
From hair dye and teeth whitening through tattoos to cosmetic surgery and body modification, there are a plethora of readily available ways for a man to alter his appearance. Mudcat rejoins Wes and Liam to discuss the motivations, opportunities, and challenges associated with procedures for altering or augmenting your body.
Charm is an ephemeral concept which can be a potent tool for success in life. However, it's often misunderstood and for some it’s an old-fashioned idea. So has charm, hospitality, and other good manners gone out of style? Or has it simply gone unnoticed?
Adding accessories to outfits can really boost your style by creating a unique, personalized look. But what are accessories, and how do you choose them? Wes and Liam finally broach a topic they’ve been wanting to discuss since the very origins of the podcast: how accessories fit into your fits.
The Dandies are back, and are returning to the original premise of the podcast to discuss topics relevant to the modern man.
The 90’s are cool, and not “again”. They always were. Without the weird pretensions of the 70’s or the comically over the top materialism of the 80’s, the 90’s brought the world a global perspective of street style, music, and culture. From heroin chic and Nirvana grunge to Afro-pop; reggae, K-pop, and French hip-hop to Euro-trash house and EDM, the 90’s opened up a anything-goes culture of acceptance and experimentation. From the mid-90’s, the first dot-com boom shepherded in both a relaxation of the norms for how professional men dress in a more “relaxed” office to a renewed appreciation of the value of the quality and details for traditional styling. Far from dying out, classic suiting received a reboot, paired with elements of the new, relaxed, fitted forms of the era.

Why - or perhaps when - is religion important? The Dandies revisit the discussion about religion and the modern man, looking at the importance and merits of having an ethical system and its role in helping navigate the challenges of contemporary life.

Liam and Mudcat discuss some of the main topics in the markets, from GameStop and NFTs to housing and energy.
It can be a challenge to be true to your ambitions, creativity, and sense of adventure. Peer groups, media, family and friends can often exert influence on what you wear, do, and pursue. The dandies are joined by Dan Ahern to discuss being your authentic self at any age, so sit back and enjoy a rollicking conversation about both finding and being your most genuine man.
Many men feel it’s weak or somehow “unmanly” to discuss mental health issues. From stress to depression and loneliness, to insecurities and anger management, men often find it hard to ask for help - or even to admit they need it. The Dandies discuss their views and experiences in coping with mental health issues.
Never be afraid to ask for help, help is there for you

Going on dates might seem a wistful ambition from the past, but the Dandies feel it's even more relevant now. Wes, Mudcat, Josh and Liam provide their thoughts on why dating is an important Dandy skill, how to be a good date, and why dates are not just for dating.
Having a sense of humor is an essential element of being a dandy. One of the most famous dandies, Oscar Wilde, was famed for both his scripted humor and quick cutting wit. We're not even going to aspire to that ... but we do have jokes for days.
