Episode 31: You were a daughter first: A practice for meeting your inner child in motherhood's tough moments
Welcome to the 31st episode of The Mom Mentality Podcast! In this SOLO episode, we explore the intersection of motherhood and trauma. I share how early life experiences shape our perceptions of motherhood and the overwhelming feelings that can arise. I reflect on the idea of approaching ourselves through the inner daughter that lives within each of us when we are met with the inevitable emotional challenges of being a mother. We also get into all of the invisible societal conditioning and expectations that come with the role of mother and how to begin to disentangle those.    I hope you found this episode to be inspiring and transform the way you view yourself and motherhood.
