The University of Texas Men’s Basketball team defeated Maryland Eastern Shore University Hawks 94-71, with Matas Vokietaitis and Jordan Pope putting up big numbers. However, Head Coach Sean Miller was still displeased with the team’s effort. NBA Christmas games are coming up, and the league has shaped up this year to this point. The Longhorn Football team is getting set for the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl. What should we expect this week before the game? Pittsburgh Steeler Receiver DK Metcalf received his fine and suspension for an altercation with a fan. Today is “Longhorns Monday,” the Texas Longhorns football team has made an addition to their coaching staff, hiring Jabbar Juluke, a former Florida running back coach. He was named the associate head coach and running back coach. The Longhorns women’s basketball team defeated Baylor 89-54 yesterday with big games from Madison Booker and Jordan Lee. Fernando Mendoza wins the Heisman Trophy Award, and Texas safety Michael Taaffe wins the Wuerrfel Trophy for the college player who best combines exemplary community service and academics. The Dallas Cowboys lost to the Minnesota Vikings 34-26, two and a half games behind division leader Philadelphia Eagles, leaving a 1% chance of making the playoffs. The Kansas City Chiefs were eliminated from playoff contention after losing to the Los Angeles Chargers 16-13. Vanderbilt Quarterback Diego Pavia isn’t making himself look good after being named runner-up to the Heisman Trophy. The San Antonio Spurs will face the New York Knicks for the NBA Emirates Cup after defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-109.
