hi, i'm Christine, and welcome (back) to the MyIBSLife podcast! i get asked quite frequently over on Instagram and TikTok what I do for work while living with IBS, so I wanted to make a few-part series about all the jobs I've had during my 16+ years of dealing with Irritable Bowel Syndrome!

here's part one: working retail with IBS. I honestly feel that this job was the hardest, especially when it came to dealing with the general public, being understaffed, working crazy schedules and dealing with the holiday madness. having an IBS flare in the middle of a department store is just NEVER the vibe -- especially when you don't have the choice to go home during a shift lmao.
