The Neurogender Podcast closely examines recent research on neurodivergent people in a gendered context. Why are more women being assessed for neurodivergence in mid and later life? What is neurodivergence, or neurodiversity, in the first place? Why does it all matter? I will answer these and more questions in this podcast.
Each series takes a neurodivergence, and each episode takes one particular characteristic. This season I am looking into recent research on autism and gender. Research shouldn't just be for academics. It affects anyone who is part of society, and those who are being researched. In understanding the recent research about neurodivergence, we understand more about ourselves. Education is for everyone, not just those who can afford it.
