You ever hear the one where she hears the scraping of her dead boyfriend's shoe on the car roof? Or how my friend had a friend who's cousin's husband's uncle had a kid that got 15 razors, a rifle bullet, and heroin in his Halloween candy? That last one may have been exaggerated a bit, but you know - urban legends! Spooky stories for around the campfire and of course inspiration for a serial killer. Man, between this, deadly sins, and horror movie tropes it seems you really have to have an exciting angle if you want to kill people. Join Meghan and Kristin as they explore 1998's URBAN LEGEND and discuss things like how young Tara Reid looks, how this manages to be another clone of SCREAM and still so much better than LAST SUMMER, and watching this with the terrifying knowledge of what Jar*ed L*to would become.

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NIKKI!
Who knew being a Loan Officer was such a dangerous job? Join Meg and Kris this week as they explore DRAG ME TO HELL (2009), a Sam Raimi camp-fest that could teach Sarah Michelle Gellar a thing or two about grudges.

We know you've been lusting after a new episode, so here's something to feed your gluttony - take a dive into the world of SE7EN (1995) with Meg and Kris as they try to determine if the number 7 is a suitable replacement for the letter V (this is not actually discussed, but we can agree it's not, right?). Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman are no sloths at trying to find the seven deadly sins serial killer, played here with overarching morality by Kevin Spacey, which we now know is sadly ironic. The cops take pride in their work and might even be said to be greedy for justice. But will one's wrath be provoked by WHAT'S IN THE BOX? I really wouldn't envy that gift.

Hel-, I mean, good evening, wait...'sup, Clarice! Now there's a catchall I think we can all agree on. Join Meghan and Kristin this week as they descend into the oubliette of 1991's THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, where they can only hope they can forget some scenes in this film. That being said, both Hopkins and Foster's performances are too great to be denied among the gruesome victims, huge moths, screaming lambs, fava beans and chiaaaanti. Please listen, we don't want to get the hose again!

Cemeteries, am I right? What do you really see there? Headstones. I mean, what else do you need? It's not like they're going to come back and torture a family. Or do they? And are...THEY HERE? Find out when Meg and Kristin go into the static in 1982's POLTERGEIST.

If there’s anything that the hosts of this show can agree on, it’s that sleep is GREAT. A good 8-9 hours at night if we can get it, and all the naps, naps, NAPS that can possibly be fit into a 24-hour period. Talk about taking that away? Now THAT’s truly horrific. Join Meg and Kris as they down coffee with Nancy in NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (1984), dodging Freddy and his terrible sweater and knife-fingers along the way. I mean, the combo of those fashion choices with that hat is enough of a nightmare without all the killing.

You thought Eminem had it bad – but before anyone ever heard of Stan, there was Annie Wilkes. Honestly though, after the final seasons of Dexter and Game of Thrones, who HASN’T thought of hobbling a pop culture creator? Just Kristin? Ok, sure, fine. Ahem…ANYWAY – join her and Meg this week as they go back to Stephen King’s Colorado to bear the wrath of a fan scorned.

Ah, high school. A time where you can spend an infinite amount of time in the exceedingly large locker room and shower after gym, leisurely washing yourself until you get your period, start screaming, girls throw tampons at you, and the teacher slaps you. Fun times...at least you had your psychic powers and lust for revenge to get you through. Doesn’t sound like your high school experience? Us either, but it was Carrie White’s! Join Meg and Kris this week as they wade through buckets of blood and weird high school obsessions in 1976’s CARRIE.

Aliens are one thing, but what about when the alien is the environment and instead of your standard abduction it wanted to change you from the inside out? THIS is the horror of Annihilation; the notion that something would take us and make us into something new. It's not even clear if this alien wanting is something evil - what if, like everything else, humanity should die to make room for the next evolution? These are the heady questions Meg and Kris grapple with as they step into the Shimmer with the ladies of ANNIHILATION (2018). It's truly the invasion of the atom snatchers!

If there’s anything the hosts of this show know, it’s that hell is a teenage girl – thank goodness they had each other in high school (we’re old, we know)! This episode, Kristin and Meghan revisit the highs and lows of teenage hormones in JENNIFER’S BODY, the 2009 Diablo Cody-penned horror comedy. It’s an exploration of the infinitely-edged sword of female sexuality; how we can use it for and against ourselves. That and whether or not “Low Shoulder” is any kind of a name for a band, especially one with Satan’s backing (it's not).

Edith Cushing's been living her whole life with a ghostly warning from her dead mother - "BEWARE CRIMSON PEAK!" It really would have helped if she had clarified just a little. This episode, Meg and Kristin spill all the poison tea about the gothic world of CRIMSON PEAK (2015), Guillermo Del Toro's film about ghosts, incest, and a lot of information about clay. Let's get ghosted!

Ah, Summerisle – a town so fun you’ll want to dance around naked using your own body as a bongo drum – and that’s somehow not the weirdest thing you’ll do there! This episode, Kris and Meghan make an appointment with THE WICKER MAN (1973), sacrificing themselves to the OG Burning Man so you don’t have to. Go ahead and grab your best Punch costume and come along for the ride!

We can all agree that if you happen on a bunch of blonde people wearing white and singing and dancing in unison, you run, right? You certainly don’t decide everyone wants to bed you and piss on the ceremonial tree (looking at you, Mark). This episode, Kristin and Meghan dance till they drop in the world of MIDSOMMAR (2019), Ari Aster’s sun-soaked follow up to the shadowy, sinister Hereditary. You know what they say, sometimes you’re the May Queen, sometimes you’re the sacrifice. Life can be a real bear, huh?

We all know the drill when dating, you talk about your likes, dislikes, turn-ons, turn-offs, whether or not malevolent spirits are attached to you – all important things to know about a romantic partner. One would think that’s important info before one moves in with someone, but is it really your fault when your boyfriend is a smug f-boy anyway? These are the concerns of the 2007 found-footage flick PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, where Meghan and Kristin navigate a world of hauntings, scared mediums, and the very mid-aughts issue of not leaving when it’s apparent your boyfriend won’t respect your boundaries. Hey, maybe the demon’s just a good friend.
