In this episode, my brother Akin joined me on the podcast as the first guest. We jumped into many topics, we talked about being an over thinker in an African setting. We also talk about doing different degrees just because you feel like you have to do them without necessarily knowing why you are doing these programs. A lot was unpacked in this episode and I hope it can be valuable to some of you. Hope you enjoy the conversation and feel free to let us know in the comment section what you thought of the episode. In this episode, I dive into the topic of greener pastures. I remember always thinking the grass was going to be much greener on the other side, which for me was Europe then.
I have, however, come to realise that it is a lot more beneficial to make use of the resources you have here and now, rather than constantly focus on what you do not yet have.
I hope you can learn something from this episode or be reminded of something you already knew. Please feel free to share your thoughts with me on the topic if you have any.

Through this audio podcasts, I hope to be able to share my journey with others, hopefully someone is helped, encouraged or motivated by it. We all go through struggles in life, so sharing how you may or may not have overcome yours, can make a difference in someone else’s life. There is power in your story and that is what this podcast channel is going to be about. About this first episode, mindset is something which is fundamental for a lot of other things to build on. I remember the countless amount of times I have had to explain stuff to others which I myself did not fully understand. That is not a good place to be in. I grew up in Cameroon where it was predominantly an instructive way of knowledge acquisition. That put me in a very difficult position when I moved to Europe where I had to think for myself. People function generally better at their best when they can think for themselves, and as a society, we need more critical thinking to be able to solve the problems faced in our communities. I hope this video can bring more awareness to the shift that we so need presently.
