Social media has a significant impact on children's lives today. It can have both positive and negative effects on their development, including their social skills, self-esteem, mental health, and academic performance. Parents should take an active role in monitoring their children's social media use and guiding them on how to use it responsibly.
To help children navigate social media safely, parents should set clear rules and expectations, such as limiting screen time and discussing appropriate behavior online. They should also educate their children about the potential risks of social media, such as cyberbullying and online predators, and how to protect themselves from them.
Parents should prioritize open communication with their children and create a safe and supportive environment where they feel comfortable discussing their online experiences. By doing so, parents can help their children develop healthy and positive relationships with social media and use it as a tool for connection, creativity, and learning. In this episode we will tips on how we as parents go about social media and its effects. Get ready to Listen & let's Dive in

Being a friend and being a parent to your child are two different roles that require different approaches. As a friend, you should listen and support your child, share common interests and spend quality time together. As a parent, you should set rules and boundaries, discipline, and guide your child in making responsible decisions.
It is important to strike a balance between the two roles and know when to be a friend and when to be a parent. For example, when your child is facing a difficult situation, it is appropriate to be a supportive friend. However, when your child engages in dangerous or inappropriate behavior, it is important to step in as a parent and set clear consequences.
Ultimately, the goal should be to build a strong and trusting relationship with your child, where they feel comfortable seeking guidance and support from you in all aspects of their life.
In this episode we will discuss how by being both a friend and a parent to your child, you can help them grow into amazing person.

But what limits are there to what these parents can and should do when it comes to dating? And is it really such a big deal if one parent isn't available all the time?
It may or may not be important to set limits on your responsibility when dating someone with kids it really depends. But just because you're in a relationship with someone doesn't mean you're responsible for their children. You should only feel obligated to care for and support your partner's children if you're also their legal guardian.

Becoming a parent is a blessing but also an emotional roller coaster. One moment you are marching the little savage to the naughty step at the same time that you are laughing at your little angel. Failures in parenting abound in life.
We have learned a lot about children over the past few years. However, just when you think you've mastered the art of weaning or sleep training, then the sudden change. Your thought of nurturing hail turns into a fall flat, yet that is fine!
Many parents wish they could freeze every laugh, capture every moment, and preserve them forever. However, my daughters say and do so many funny things that they lose track of time.

Parenting is undoubtedly the hardest job in the world, and this is coming from someone who is not a parent herself (which speaks to the weight of the role). While not a parent, I have over a decade of clinical experience studying, researching, and working with parents and children. The goal: to give children the best possible environment for neurotypical development, and to teach parents the skills they need to be a good parent while also supporting their children. Ironically, the hardest job in the world does not come with a guide on how to complete it. Parenting is both the most important and least well-trodden responsibility a person can assume. To put it another way, becoming a parent does not come with a manual or step-by-step guide. This is frequently disturbing for some guardians given that most have a similar objective as a main priority: In the midst of life's chaos, raise children who are happy and healthy.
In this episode we will share what parenting styles do we practice at our own homes and with our children. Listen & let's Dive in..
