
Mental food chatter is often referred to a “food noise”; it’s those persistent, intrusive thoughts about food that can distract you from your daily activities. It hums in the background of your mind, never in “off” mode. Mental food chatter can show up as cravings, planning and re-planning meals, and other behaviors I highlight in this episode.
