The Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now officially over as they lost to the San Francisco 49’ers at The Linc by a score of 23-19. Once again, the prevalent theme of this season was the offense not being able to do enough and score in the second half. After stalling on multiple drives with a number of 3-and-outs, the offensive scheme was the Achilles heel for the team. Consequently, the Eagles defense, which had been elite for much of the season, faltered in the end as well. The Eagles now head to the offseason where a lot of difficult decisions will need to be made before the 2026 season.

Week 18 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they lost to the Washington Commanders at The Linc by a score of 24-17. The Eagles finished the regular season with an 11-6 record. Tanner McKee got the start at quarterback, as did the majority of second-string players for the Eagles. It was yet another puzzling play calling game on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively, we truly learned how back the backup cornerbacks on the Eagles team really are. The Eagles now head to the playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the NFC to face the San Francisco 49’ers.

Week 17 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Buffalo Bills up in northwest New York by a score of 13-12. This was a tale of two halves for the offense. Jalen Hurts and the skill position players were productive int he first half and then only put up 17 total yards in the second half. Jalen Hurts didn’t play “hero ball” which is a big reason why the team won. He was responsible with the football and made very good decisions throughout both halves. The Eagles defense was dominant throughout the game and are the reason why this team won in a monsoon. The Eagles are now 11-5 on the season and still waiting to see what seed they’ll be in the playoffs as they currently stand at No. 3.

2025 saw some fantastic moments in the world of Philly sports. However, no moment was better than the Eagles winning the Super Bowl and bringing that Lombardi Trophy to the City of Philadelphia. As we reflect on the greatest Philly sports moment in 2025, we brought out from the PST Vault the Eagles postgame podcast show after that Super Bowl LIX win. The excitement. The amazement. The sheer shock of a dominant Eagles win over the Kansas City Chiefs was one we’ll always remember. Jalen Hurts left that Super Bowl as its MVP. Week 16 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Washington Commanders down in Landover, MD by a score of 29-18. They are now NFC East Division Champions for the second year in a row. The last team to repeat division titles in the NFC East was the Eagles back in 2003 and 2004. Once again, this was an up and down game for the offense. We saw great play on the field. We saw bad play on the field. The defense continues to be the bright spot as a championship-looking defense. Special teams received a failing grade from us this week as they were horrendous for just about the entire time they were on the field. This team is now 10-5 on the season and waiting to see what seed they’ll be in the playoffs.

Week 15 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they absolutely destroyed the Las Vegas Raiders at The Linc by a score of 31-0. After a three game losing streak, this is the game the Eagles needed to give them a confidence boost as they head into the final games of this regular season. We saw an Eagles offense that was, at times, creative and utilized effective play design. Jalen Hurts not only used his legs more effectively in the RPO game, but he also threw three touchdowns. The defense was totally dominant, holding the Raiders offense to just 72 net yards. This team is now 9-5 on the season and are still at the top of the NFC East division.

The Philadelphia 76ers have so much promise in their backcourt while also have an albatross that is the Joel Embiid health situation that isn’t helping this team. We’ve seen real good stuff from the Sixers this season, and not-so-good stuff. This week, Sean Barnard from Fox Sports Philly’s The Gambler and Draft Kings joined us for a great discussion about what we’ve seen from this team, and where they may be heading here in mid-December.
But first, the guys dove into some Eagles and NFL talk. They discussed the Eagles offensive narrative, and also talked about Philip Rivers coming back to the NFL for the Colts at the age of 44. (Approx. 5:05)
From there, they got into a discussion about recent moves the Phillies have made: re-signing Kyle Schwarber and extending manager Rob Thomson until 2027. Week 14 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they lost to the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium in L.A. by a score of 22-19 as the game went into overtime. Once again, the Eagles offense has major problems. From play design to predictability, these variables are still a major issues. Plus, Jalen Hurts throwing four interceptions in this game didn’t help the offense out at all. While the defense played a great, solid game, it didn’t matter because the offense was anemic. This team is now 8-5 on the season and are still at the top of the NFC East division.
As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams. Plus we graded each unit.
