Marcus had a hell of a Christmas as the mac and cheese he so prayed for ended up on his plate.
Sefa pulled the Charizard he's been telling Marcus and Lance to get, and that card alone sold for $450.
The boys talk about influencer Jaiden Laing after the backlash he received during his toy giveaway.

BALLINESIAN PODCAST ON THE POLYTICKIN NETWORK
Merry Christmas, happy holidays and welcome to the Ballinesian Podcast. We are Samoans talking sports; a Charger and Raiders fan breaking down the latest in the NFL. Including the league bullying their way onto our TVs on Christmas Day, sorry NBA.
Lots to get to this week, here's the list, listen to it twice, and tell us if Puka's trippin or nice:
Patreon shenanigans
Puka Nacua livestreams with Adin Ross and it ends like most expected. Nacua also called out the refs for making up calls so they could get on TV. He doubled down after the Rams lost to the Seahawks on TNF following a wild 2-pt conversion call.
Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa has been benched for the last two games of 2025, what does this mean for Tua and the Dolphins? Does he stay on as the starter next year? As the backup?? Should he ask for a trade? To the Raiders?? We discuss.
The Raiders (2-13) host the New York Giants (2-13) in an extremely important matchup that will decide which of these teams will get their hands on the No. 1 overall pick in the next NFL Draft. Sure, the players and coaches want to win every game but... don't win this one. Executive decision. Raiders will end up winning by 3 TDs.
The Chargers (11-4) hope to avenge last year's playoff demise against the Houston Texans and their league-recognized defense. If LAC can get a win this week against Houston, next week's regular season finale in Denver would be for the AFC West division championship. Crazy to think Herbert and that offense are still alive after the injuries that have sidelined major contributors for most of the year. Sign of unreached future potential?
Thanks for tuning in on Christmas week and a very happy and joyful holiday season for you and yours! Send in your comments, hot takes, topic suggestions, shout outs and favorite book suggestions to Ballinesian on Instagram or TikTok, or email to ballinesian@gmail.com. Merry Chrysler to all, and to all a good night.
Welcome back to another episode of The Polytickin Podcast! The Pod Boys are in the building.
Marcus went to Frank and Son Collectible Show out in the City of Industry, and goddamn is that a mission.
Sefa went to his company party and got more of his beloved arancinis.
The boys try to figure out if Marcus truly was invited to a party after getting a verbal invitation, but no address.
Was he even invited?
Also, what songs do you listen to or videos you watch when you're feeling a bit sensitive?

BALLINESIAN PODCAST ON THE POLYTICKIN NETWORK
Welcome to the Ballinesian Podcast, Samoans talking sports. We're back after a week off with family. Thanks in advance for your patience through a few choppy internet delays in this episode, please bear with us as we truck on through them (and take a sip anytime you recognize it happening).
We'll start with a comic collectors origin story and a quick catch up on last week's activities. Whataburger for the win. Also, how do YOU deal with flying anxiety?
The Chargers (10-4) are almost guaranteed a postseason berth after consecutive 3-point wins against last year's Super Bowl participants, including knocking the Kansas City Chiefs from playoff possibility. Nail, meet coffin. And the AFC West is still in play for Harbaugh, Herbert and the Bolts! We'll break down what needs to happen. A bye week with the number one seed in the AFC is also still possible (insert side eye emoji)
Joe Burrow has been talking about the need for his football to be "fun". What does he mean by that and what does it mean for the Bengals and Burrow's future?
Las Vegas (2-12) has two questions we need answered: Where will their draft pick end up? (We're hoping No. 1!) and will Pete Carroll be there to make the pick? (Yes: Finances). We'll go over how they're stuck with the old man and which teams we need to root for over the last three weeks, and then how much the Raiders could get for trading away the first overall pick.
Thanks for tuning in! Like this episode if you've gotten this far. Follow Ballinesian Podcast on Instagram for updates on Super Bowl LX trip. Subscribe to the Patreon.com/thepolytickinpodcast.
Comment your sports thoughts, takes and topics and we'll discuss them next episode.
Welcome back to another episode of The Polytickin Podcast! The Pod Boys are in on a Friday.
Marcus went off on another dealer, and there has to be a common denominator between events... it's Marcus.
Sefa has a project in the works, and he's exploring his grief in light of the year he's had.
The boys try to figure out what Australia brings to the table, food-wise, and it's not looking good.
Also, do you think you can fight a kangaroo?

BALLINESIAN PODCAST ON THE POLYTICKIN NETWORK
Welcome to the Ballinesian Podcast, we are Samoans talking Sports.
Before we get to football, we'll determine whether or not Victor Wembanyama has a chance to reach LeBron's records when all is said and done. Subscribe to the Polytickin Patreon (www.patreon.com/thepolytickinpodcast).
The Chargers beat the Raiders this week, that's not the news. Justin Herbert has a fractured left-hand, had surgery Monday and the Chargers face the 3rd-toughest Strength of Schedule to end the season: vs Eagles, at Chiefs, at Cowboys, vs Texans, at Broncos. That's the news. If they win three of those last five games, they will have a 95% chance of getting a playoff berth. But there's a chance they win none of them and miss the postseason entirely.
The Raiders have been mathematically eliminated from playoff possibility, so what's next? Get right and get ready for next season by figuring out who you have that you want to keep.
And we'll go deep into the chase for the single-season sack record and figure out what Pacific Islander has the most career NFL sacks and who could possibly threaten for a sack record. Junior Seau, Dan Saleaumua, Haloti Ngata as well as the new guard of Tuli Tuipulotu and Laiatu Latu brought up here.
Thanks for listening. Watch us on YouTube!
Welcome back to another episode of The Polytickin Podcast! The Pod Boys are here the day after Turkey Day.
Marcus is dealing with the first strike of the holidays, as he did not get his mac and cheese.
Sefa spoiled a bit of the new season of Stranger Things. You've been warned.
Havea676 has won TikTok Creator of the Year, and that's awesome!
Also, Travion Deon Ware...you're a real scumbag.

Welcome to this week's episode of Samoans talking sports and discussing a historical quarterback matchup in Spain. Marcus Mariota and Tua Tagovailoa faced off in the first NFL game between two Samoan signal callers, showing the league and the world how far Pacific Islanders have come since entering the league decades ago as hulking lineman specialists. Soon, high-level Pacific QBs will be the norm.
We'll talk about the home teams as well: the Chargers looked flat again on their fourth east coast trip of the season, losing 6-35 to the Jaguars. The Raiders played the Cowboys on Monday Night Football and... are ready for 2026.
There's a RunIt Trial Tour happening on the westcoast. We'll talk about how the sport has grown, what draws spectators to it, and how the best strategies for trying to win an Oklahoma Drill.

Marcus got another haul this week, and he is now knee-deep in the game.
Sefa is excited for Max B's second chance, as he's been doing more in a week than we do in a lifetime since his release from prison.
Also, apparently, 45% of men aged 18-25 have never approached a woman before.
Where has all the game gone?

We'll also catch you up on what the Chargers and Raiders did in Week 8: beating the Vikings (shout out Carson Wentz) on TNF or beating the Bye Week in Las Vegas, before getting into what position players our teams need to target before Tuesday's trade deadline.

Welcome back to another episode of Both Our NFL Teams Lost This Week! Samoans talking sports, a Charger and Raider fan breaking down Whyyyy these things are happening. The Raiders (2-5) had a historic(ly bad) trip to Kansas City, totaling three first downs, 95 yards and 30 offensive plays in a 31-0 shutout loss vs Patrick Mahomes and returning WR Rashee Rice. The Chargers (4-3) made Jonathon Taylor look like MVP Adrian Peterson and Daniel Jones look like MVP Peyton Manning en route to a 14-point loss IN Los Angeles. Yuck. Fun times!
