In this episode, Marta explores the Five R’s of Parenting — relationship, regulation, reflection, repair, and resilience — and how these pillars shape the humans our children become.
Rather than striving for perfection, this conversation centers on presence: how connection builds safety, how regulation opens learning, and how repair transforms rupture into trust. Marta shares personal reflections and real-life family moments, illustrating how conscious parenting begins with the work we are willing to do within ourselves.
Through grounded psychology, heartfelt storytelling, and simple tools for everyday life, this episode offers a compassionate roadmap for raising children who feel worthy, seen, and secure.
It’s an invitation to slow down, get curious, communicate honestly, and create a relational home where emotion is met, not managed.
This is a gentle but powerful conversation about the kind of parenting that heals — one where connection comes first, growth is shared, and resilience is built through love, not pressure.
In Part 2 of Sturdy Parenting, Marta explores anxiety, nervous system regulation, and what children truly need in order to feel safe, connected, and worthy.
Building on the foundations of Part 1, this episode focuses on the difference between false anxiety (a body out of balance) and true anxiety (a heart that needs connection). Marta offers compassionate insight into how social media, perfectionism, frustration, and emotional overwhelm impact today’s kids, and how sturdy parents can respond with presence rather than control.
Through practical tools, real-life examples, and deep relational wisdom, this episode reminds us that presence, not perfection, is what shapes our children and ourselves.
This is a grounding, hopeful conversation about regulation, repair, and raising humans who know they belong.
In Part 1 of this episode on Sturdy Parenting, Marta explores what it means to stay grounded, present, and connected to yourself while raising another human being.
Parenting can feel tender, overwhelming, and humbling, especially when we realize that many of the skills required for emotional regulation, boundaries, and repair were never modeled for us. Marta reframes parenting as a learned practice rooted in awareness, nervous-system regulation, and compassion rather than perfection.
Through personal stories and practical reflections, this episode invites parents and humans alike to soften self-blame, deepen self-connection, and step into sturdier leadership for themselves and for the people they love.
Enjoy a grounding and honest conversation about growth, repair, and the sacred work of being human together.
In this episode of The Practice , Marta explores how changing your “life algorithm” — the thoughts, habits, and patterns you bring into each day — can change everything. She shares the deeply personal story of her mother’s passing, which opened the door for her to dive deeper into herself and move forward in a way that feels more aligned and true.
What lights you up and grows you, and what are you carrying that no longer serves you? Marta offers reflection and encouragement to help you find clarity and choose your own path forward.
Hint: There’s a special offering for loyal listeners waiting at the end of this episode. 🌟

Welcome back to The Practice of Being Human. In this final part of her “10 Truths to Human Better,” Marta guides us through five powerful truths that invite a return to agency, integrity, and love.
We’ll explore how to:
Step out of victimhood and into responsibility
Regulate your nervous system with sacred care
Realign with your core values
Remember your inherent wholeness
Choose love, again and again
These aren’t quick fixes, they’re daily devotions to the art of being human. This episode is a gentle reminder that your worth is not earned through doing, but remembered through being. You are not behind, not broken. You are whole, right here, right now.
Welcome back to The Practice of Being Human. Today, Marta shares the first five of her “10 Truths to Human Better.” These aren’t self-improvement hacks, they’re invitations to return to the heart of what it means to be alive, aware, and whole.
We’ll explore how to:
This episode is a love note to your humanity, and a gentle reminder that you are already whole, already enough, and already home.
This week, Marta explores the ego through a new lens, not as something to fix, but as something to understand.
Drawing wisdom from Byron Katie and Kelly Brogan, she invites us to meet the ego as a terrified child, one who clings, defends, and controls, not because it’s evil, but because it’s scared.
Together, we explore what it means to awaken from the stories that keep us small, to soften our defenses, and to love what is just as it is.
When we question our thoughts, we end the war within.
When we replace control with curiosity, we begin to trust life again.
And when we meet our inner child with compassion, we remember who we truly are.
Because the practice of being human isn’t about escaping the ego. It’s about integrating it with love.
What do we do when our child’s self-expression—through their tone, choices, or clothing—triggers something deep in us?
In this week’s episode, Marta shares how to parent with coherence: aligning your thoughts, emotions, and energy so your guidance comes from love, not fear. You’ll learn how to regulate before you relate, repair instead of react, and stay curious instead of controlling. Because our children don’t need us to be perfect. They need us to be present.
Join Marta as she explores how coherence helps us guide without shaming, connect without rescuing, and trust our kids to grow into who they’re meant to be.
In this episode of The Practice of Being Human, Marta reflects on the heart of conscious parenting — not as a performance, but as a practice of presence.
Through stories of friendship, belonging, and lessons inspired by Gabor Maté, she explores how our children don’t experience our intentions, but our energy. They feel the nervous system beneath our words — the steadiness, safety, and attunement that say, you’re loved, you’re safe, I’m here.
You’ll hear insights on:
The unseen impact of stress, fear, and perfectionism on connection
How to bring compassion, not shame, to our past parenting
The power of repair, curiosity, and regulation
Why conscious parenting begins with our own healing
This episode is a reminder that we can’t give what we haven’t yet received — and that tending to our own hearts is the most loving act of all.
Because the most sacred gift we offer our children is not our perfection, but our presence.

In this episode of The Practice of Being Human, Marta reflects on the growing role of AI companions and what their rise reveals about our longing for ease, validation, and control.
But she reminds us — friction is not a flaw in human connection. It’s the fertile ground where growth, understanding, and love take root.
Through insights inspired by Adam Grant, Marta invites you to see tension and discomfort as opportunities for expansion — for building the emotional muscles of patience, curiosity, forgiveness, and humility.
Because while AI might comfort us, only real relationships can transform us.
This conversation is an invitation to stay — to remain tender, awake, and willing to be shaped by the beautiful mess of being human.
In this month’s musing, Marta invites you into a gentle, honest reflection on your relationship with your body — the one that has carried you through every joy, heartbreak, and moment of becoming.
In a world that teaches us to treat our bodies as projects to perfect, Marta offers a different path: one of reverence, presence, and love. She shares words to help you remember that your body is not your art — she’s your paintbrush. A living, breathing vessel through which your soul creates, connects, and experiences life.
Whether you’re learning to make peace with your reflection, soften old self-judgments, or model embodiment for your children, this conversation is an invitation to come home to yourself — to move, eat, rest, and live from love, not fear.
So often, it’s not the circumstances of our lives that hold us back—it’s the stories we tell ourselves about them. Old narratives, rooted in fear or self-doubt, can keep us stuck in the same cycles of negative belief. In this episode, Marta shares a personal story about rewriting one of her own limiting narratives and offers insight into how you, too, can begin shifting your story. Together, we’ll explore how awareness, compassion, and intentional reframing can free us from old patterns and open the door to growth, possibility, and a truer version of ourselves.

Self-care isn’t bubble baths, spa days, or a once-a-year vacation. True self-care is the daily, often uncomfortable work of living in alignment with your values, honoring your needs, and stepping into the person you aspire to be. In this episode of The Practice of Being Human, Marta shares what it means to “becoming her” — not chasing after some distant version of yourself, but stretching into the woman you already are. She unpacks how to tolerate discomfort, expand your capacity for growth, and root your self-care in presence, purpose, and authenticity.

We all want to encourage our children, but what if the words “I’m proud of you” are doing more harm than good? In this episode of The Practice of Being Human, Marta unpacks how this well-meaning phrase can create a cycle of codependency and external validation—teaching kids to chase approval instead of defining success on their own terms. She shares how to shift from pride to presence, equipping parents with new language and tools to help their children grow confidence, resilience, and self-trust from the inside out.

In this episode, Marta unpacks the 6 family roles we often unconsciously adopt—or assign to our children. These roles are shaped by silence, praise, tension, or absence and can be passed down through generations. Marta helps you identify the roles at play in your own family ecosystem and offers insight on how to break free from patterns that no longer serve you.

In this episode, Marta explores how boundaries are not walls or acts of rejection but powerful bridges that foster authentic connection. She shares stories of a young adult client learning to set healthy limits with her mom’s constant calls and another client who gently expressed her discomfort to a cousin who overstayed in her apartment. These real-life moments show how boundaries create clarity, trust, and deeper relationships rather than distance.

After a client asked me to watch Love Island (yes, really), I started noticing something deeper beneath the surface: an epidemic of nonchalance — a cultural pull toward aloofness, detachment, and performative indifference, especially in dating and relationships.
In this episode, I unpack what this “nonchalance epidemic” is really about, why it’s showing up so strongly right now, and how it affects our ability to connect — with ourselves and others. I also share ways we can move beyond it, grow more secure in ourselves, and build real, present, meaningful relationships that aren’t driven by fear or self-protection.

In this solo episode, Marta unpacks a quiet but powerful belief many of us carry—that something is inherently wrong with us. Drawing from a recent message she shared with a client, Marta explores how this belief subtly shapes the way we relate to others and to ourselves. She invites listeners to question that inner voice of unworthiness, reminding us that this feeling isn’t a flaw, but part of being human. Through gentle insight and reflection, Marta offers a new lens: that discomfort may be pointing us toward healing, and that we are already whole, already lovable, and already enough.
