WE BACK BABY! A new episode is HERE fresh off Audacity.
It's been a MINUTE (okay - more than a minute), but I'm so incredibly excited to share my interview with Shawnell Riggins, CEO and Founder of Nyoo, a women's underwear company. Shawnell is passionate about fashion and women's health, and Nyoo sits in that cozy space that is the middle of a Venn Diagram. Her business is the byproduct of her mixing her passions, not to mention a TON of hard work and sweat equity. Shawnell is a complete boss - running her own business, working, and going to nursing school. Talk about #TheLimitDoesNotExist!
In this episode, she recaps us on the JOURNEY she's been on over the last few years. Tune in to get inspired!

New episode coming in HOT!
I recently caught up with my good friend, Leah Tsui, who is a Registered Dietician Nutritionist. Leah and I go WAY back, and as long as I've known her she's CRUSHED everything she set her mind to. Like many people I know, Leah was unfortunately laid off at the beginning of the pandemic in April 2020. That said, pressure makes diamonds! Fast-forward a year and a half later, Leah is running her own private practice like a complete BOSS.
In this episode, we chat through her journey to becoming a private practitioner, her setbacks and successes - the works! Leah also digs into her approach as a Dietician Nutritionist, and gives an overview on "intuitive eating," which I found super insightful. Regardless of what you do for a living, or what you're striving to do for a living, there are real gems in this episode that anyone can relate to that you don't want to miss!

Happy Tuesday, fam! It's 2/22/2022 and I'm feeling LUCKY. I'm back after a brief hiatus - excited to share about what it's been like balancing this passion project of mine with the rest of life (which gets SUPER BUSY at times). Real talk - a lot of us have passion projects or side hustles on top of work, or other obligations so I'm SURE ya'll can relate. I'm also sharing some key learnings I've picked up after producing a handful of episodes, and going into it with absolutely no experience or any idea what I was doing! And last but certainly not least, we're circling back to hear a bit more from Tawnya Nguyen, and getting the scoop on Movement Society's brand new gym. Thanks for your patience on this one - we out here!

It's here! My first episode with a guest - the one and only, Tawnya Nguyen! She's a strength and conditioning coach, entrepreneur, dancer, and my very, very good friend. We sat down and chatted through her path to becoming a trainer, and all the twists and turns along the way. In Part 1, Tawnya shares about her challenges with imposter syndrome, learning to thrive as an introvert in a client-facing industry, what it was like being a brand new trainer during a global pandemic, overcoming burnout (yes, dream chasers suffer from this too - none of us are immune!), and much more.
