Well, Summerslam 2025 night 1 happened along with another disastrous week of WWE promotion PLUS AEW finished up a Chicago residency with another solid Dynamite and Collision!
What a week. The wrestling world lost one of it’s most polarizing icons, SummerSlam approaches, G1 math went off the rails, and some questionable choices were made on AEW programming.
It was another wild week in pro wrestling as a WWE ”Legend” goes on a complaining spree, NJPW’s G1 Tournament claimed its first victim, and AEW moves SOME of their storylines forward after the big All In PPV.
WWE got more Blood Money so we spend an appropriate amount of time ragging on Phil Brooks for selling out, PLUS we’ve got a new IWGP Champ and AEW continues to build to ALL IN with another fun (if not flawed) Dynamite!
The WWE takes ’run it back’ to a whole new level, and AEW does the most AEW thing possible - running a killer show in Mexico! We break it all down with a staggering amount of Simpsons references!
