This week’s episode begins with your Say Reporters discussing some Terrestrial Radio mistruths they have heard in their lifetimes and trying to correct the errors and omissions present. Then the talk turns cinematic with an exploration of Devon’s experiences viewing the December 2025 version of Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, a brief spoiler-free discussion on the latest film in the Knives Out franchise “Wake Up Dead Man,” before Devon takes us on a detour to television, specifically the streaming premiere of the second season of Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Paramount+.

For the first time in a long time… maybe even as long as the show has existed we missed releasing an episode for all of you on a Monday. With that in mind and our apologies please accept this experimental content delivery system where we split one episode worth of content into two separate parts. This is the second part of this two part endeavor where we spend time discussing the news that Netflix seems to be poised to acquire  Warner Bros., a disappointing development regarding one of the Say Reporters getting to experience the Whole Bloody Affair of the Kill Bill films, and provide a very important PSA about the functionality of the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition releases of games.

In another excused absence episode of The Say Report your reporters take the time to unpack all of the things they did over the past few weeks including the movies they’ve seen, video games they’ve played, and television shows they’ve endured.

The Say Reporters embark upon a new adventure on the Road to Reubens and the eventual coverage of Mystery Men for its 30th anniversary and of course they start are the most logical of places by celebrating the 40th anniversary of Pee-wee’s Big Adventure

We bring Saturday energy to this episode that sees us addressing the episode topics we delayed a week ago by pivoting to an episode all about the 1995 film CasperThat means we finally get to talk about Devon’s cinematic experiences with “One Battle After Another” and “Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie,” The Sonic Crossworlds Racing Homework we completed but never turned in, and the latest update to TMNT: Splintered Fate.Alongside that is new topics including Devon’s experience trying to correct a shipping issue with NECA that happened via Wal-Mart’s website and Sejohn accidentally trolling the ENTIRE Decker family by asking them to watch a specific episode of American Dad with an eye for reference to a particular Pixar property.

Both of your Say Reporters had topics to discuss this week, but things ended up getting changes at the last minute when one of them realizes the film “Casper” is so in the wheelhouse of Say Report topics that it would be wrong to discuss anything else after they both watched it this past week. Hopefully we’ll remember and discuss those preempted topics this way next week, but for now enjoy this episode where we not only celebrate the darkness of the piece but also do our best to determine the actual date that Casper McFadden passed away.    

This episode sees your Say Reporters Dealing with the after effects of their choices. One of getting their Autumnal Vaccinations vaccinated hours before recording and the other making updates to the technology they’ve surrounded themselves with. This in turn leads to interesting examination of the current state of Artificial Intelligence, the long history of imitation in the realm of art, and the grimy history of Disney films.

Yes you read that right Devon bought a Katana, and that fact leads us into a deeper discussion of the Ninja Gaiden and Shinobi games he has already completed this year and how his experience has been with Silk Song both in and out of the game. Then Sejohn talks about his latest stoppage point with Super Mario Odyssey and his excitement at Borderlands 4 being a bit tempered by some of the unending missions he has found himself involved with on the planet Kairos. Next we discuss Disney. From the Indefinite Preemption of Jimmy Kimmel, to the latest full season drop of Futurama on Hulu, before finally the new released to streaming film “Elio” and trying to figure out why that film ended up as such a non-starter for audiences. It’s rough, it’s raw, we discover our first episode of SNL that we each watched was the same one that featured Christopher Walken as the host deepening our lore, but most importantly this is most certainly an episode of the Say Report and we thank all of you for taking the time to listen. 

After a difficult week both of your Say Reporters find themselves a bit burnt out and even more interesting that they are not the only ones seemingly experiencing it so that dedicate this episode to discussing the burnout that they have witnessed in the world and sharing the methods they have employed in an effort to combat it.

This episode sees The Say Reporters discussing the release of Silksong and their thoughts and feelings about Hollow Knight and how that affected their decision to interact with its sequel, which for one was actually giving it a try and the other was going back to the warm welcoming world of Shantae in her third adventure. Next is a look at K-Pop Demon Hunters on Netflix a film that both of your hosts just happened to finally watch this past week that ended up being a nice surprise for both of them. After that Devon shares his experiences with all of the new streaming shows that premiered this past week and how the industry of streaming entertainment continues to evolve and change and not necessarily for the better.

In our 450th episode we go back to our roots to discuss two basic topics Shinobi: Art of Vengeance and The Toxic Avenger Unrated. Luckily Devon has also spent some time revisiting Sing Street and Sejohn is currently playing through The Shantae series again so we are primed and ready to revisit this old style of episode productionJoin us for this celebration of a big round number that has more focus than some episodes, but also does makes that classic Say Report maneuver of covering everything that can be linked to those topics Please enjoy and here’s to 450 more!
