This week’s episode is all about rest, and how restorative yoga can transform the way you meet the harder moments of life. After a week of being sick, I found myself noticing how much this practice has rewired my nervous system. Instead of spiralling into guilt or urgency, my body actually knew how to soften and surrender. And I’m grateful my kids get to see that version of me.
In this episode, I talk about the benefits of restorative yoga beyond the mat, why learning to rest is something the world desperately needs right now, and how this practice helps us show up with more patience, clarity, and presence.
I also guide you through a gentle somatic practice “The Art of Being Held” along with a few journal prompts to help you explore your own relationship with rest.
If you’re craving slowness, grounding, or permission to pause, this one’s for you.
Take a breath. Let’s slow down together.

✍️Journal Prompts (let's get curious):
Do I treat rest as something to earn rather than something I’m allowed?
What beliefs about productivity or worthiness come up when I try to slow down?
What does “rested me” feel like in my body? How do I show up differently?
When do I notice myself pushing past my capacity? What would it look like to pause sooner?
What small shift could I make this week that lets me experience being supported instead of doing the supporting?
