Depending on the day and time you're listening, Tik Tok is either down, just back up, or gone forever. Either way, the world is permanantly altered by Tik Tok. But in what way? Can it be it be for the better in any way? What's the future of social media, and how will we look back on it in 30 years?
In the past ten years, UFO's and UAP's have become largely mainstream. So much so that government and military officials have confirmed yes, they exist and yes, we have made some kind of contact with their crafts. But what does any of it mean? Psyop? Military tech? Spiritual Activity? How does the christian think about the larger universe and the life that may or may not be there? Join us now as we ponder the void.
Over the past month or so, the reform world has seen a scuffle between two sides of the Christendom coin. On one side, Ogden, Utah and New Christendom Press. On the other, Moscow, Idaho and Canon Press. So what's the point of contention, and who's in the right? Should we have any enemies on the right? And what Holy Land, and by extension which Christendom, are we fighting for?
Two men who did what they felt they had to do; Daniel Penny and Luigi Mangione. One, charged with the high crime of being white while acting. The other turned into a folk hero of sorts after gunning down a one percenter in cold blood. What does the narative we were fed about each man say about us as a society? In a nation that thinks the righ to kill is undeniable, should we be surprised that murderers are heroes? And are there any heroes at all?
For the first time in two years, we sit down to catch up and reflect on what's been going on. And what a time to do it. From the chaos of the election cycle to the world on the brink of war, we talk about what has been and what we think we need going forward. Join us, it's The Time & Place!
This week we dabble in a subject near and dear to both of our hearts, comic books. We discuss the idea of comics as analogy for existence, the ideas of writer Grant Morrison, and how we can understand some of our own super heroes in light of our fait. Also, why Punk Rock Jesus is a lazy, poorly written book. Excelsior!
A few months ago, we spoke with pastor Carl Young, elder at Alamo Ranch Community Church in San Antonio, Tx., and will soon be planting Garden City Church. This week, we speak to pastor Jon Paul Dennison, another elder at ARCC who will be leaving to Brownwood, Tx. for another church plant. We discuss the issues that come with planting in the Bible Belt, breaking through people's assumptions of their own salvation via geogrophy, and what it's like to move into a community that hasn't changed in decades.

We are all familiar now with the argument that gender is a social construct, that the organs and chromosomes are irrelevent, and that there is no gender binary. What if they have a point? What if the flesh isn't the issue? We look back at the very beginnings of humanity to look at why gender isn't just a set of organs or traits, but a very real, intentional, and spiritual reality. It's more than just skin deep, and that's a good thing.

Should we be banning any kind of media? And if so, what are the standards? Join us for this, plus why we can trust the right books are in the bible.
Anxiety so common in our modern time, it's almost hard to call it a problem and not a character trait. Why did it become so common? What does it actually mean? And how should we view it through a biblical lense?
