Pluribus on Apple TV+ is a show that quickly devolves into chaos, as the world violently falls into what can be only described as a utopia. Our main character Carol is going through it, as she tries to wrap her mind around the events that are happening. The twist of this pseudo post-apocalypse is one that should be seen and not told, so if you haven’t watch this yet, it’s definitely worth the price of admission.

Predator: Badlands is the current entry into the firmly cemented Weyland-Yutaniverse and we get a coming of age story about how proving yourself to parental figures isn’t just a problem for humans. Both Yautja and synths are wanting to please their parent (or Mother) and not divert from their separate missions, but Dek and Thia realize they stand a better chance of survival if they work together.

As season 2 of Peacemaker on hbo max comes to a cliffhanger of a conclusion, we’re left to ask but one main question: does it live up to the hype? James Gunn promised that he would be doing some things that have never been done before and to put it mildly, they kinda did that. The gang does get back together, albeit short lived, Rick Flagg is still the worst, and Vigilante needs to treat his moms better.

It feels like it’s been a long time since we got some GOT, but here we are! A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms drops 1/18/26 and during NYCC we got the official teaser trailer! The tall tale that became a legend is the tagline, as we see Sir Duncan the Tall and another Aegon making their way through one of our favorite worlds to explore. With HOTD S3 dropping next summer, this six episode series will be a great holdover until we get to see the Dance of the Dragons.

These two episodes of Peacemaker are two drastically different pieces of work, that are still aligned with the overall premise of the show so far: will Peaemaker give in to his wants to be loved or his need to deal with his hurt. From a competent Chris getting showered with love in the alt-dimension, to his love (allegedly) dropping a dime on him in the real world. In the words of Paramore, “Ain’t it fun living in the real world,” and Peacemaker has to decide which one will real to him.

This show toes the line with humor and heart, because there are some incredibly funny bits. Some scenes are very hard to watch, but James Gunn strikes a balance between ridiculous and serious. Peacemaker is still cleaning up from his super fun adult time and altercation with his alternate universal self. The 11th St Gang have the most odd kickback ever. Tim Meadows is still the goat of deadpan comedy!

While episode four is light on action, it’s heavy on plotting, because everyone is trying to jockey for position. The Lost Boys are simultaneously finding their way and losing their minds. Boy Kavalier and Morrow have one terrible thing in common. Meanwhile, Kirsch is probably the smartest and most clever being on this show.
