The Village ZM
Trevor Mumba [Introducing]

The Village community is primarily all about growth and development of our communities, one way we believe we can do that is by taking a more active role in our Democracy and the Political Space. That's why we keep talking politics and keeping those in service in check because as Citizens it's our RESPONSIBILITY to offer Checks and Balances. In order to have further growth and development, it is important for us to ensure all voices are heard, all voices have a safe space to share their thoughts, goals and ideas.

Zambia is a couple years away from the next major election but Aspiring Candidates are getting ready for it; we constantly hear them giving their praises and concerns about those currently in service. "If you listen close enough you will also hear new names emerging from the electorate and announcing their intentions to run for office. So, we thought it would be a good idea to give not only these Candidates but all Candidates a platform Introduce themselves to those they wish to serve; that's why the name of the series is "Introducing...".

For the pilot episode, Malimba sits down with Trevor Mumba, aspiring candidate for Matero Constituency. We won't say much in the description because you can listen to Trevor say it all for himself in his own words.

Want to connect with Trevor? Feel free to follow him on Twitter [@selfstyledking], Facebook [Trevor Mumba], and Instagram [selfstyledking].
