Coming to you from the sleeping bags they just spent the night in, inside the comedy club they currently live in - Guy and Tim are picking apart the financial performance of Joker 2 and the incredible reaction of Todd Phillips upon release of the film. Tim tries (to limited avail) to tie the trajectory of the watches to Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’ five stages of grief. Guy poses the question: Who are the fans of this movie?

It has been three weeks, and in some ways five weeks. And in some other ways, it has simply been one day for Tim and Guy watching Joker: Folie à Deux. A damaged Lithium Ion battery pack has become a ticking potential timebomb threatening to destroy The Classic (Tim and Guy's current abode) adding beautiful background tension to this episode. The very definition of a joke is picked apart for a very long time after this 5th watch of the movie.

Guy and Tim are truly ON ONE. Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber is outted as a common plagiarist. Todd Phillips is recognised as being VERY IMPORTANT to the making of Joker 2. And also, it is Monday! Now imagine this: What if this movie was made for just one person? And what if that person was a certain Canadian physiologist who almost killed himself going on an all meat diet? There truly is a lot to consider when you’ve got a brain full of Joker: Folie à Deux.

We are joined by writer, comedian and (semi) qualified clown Johanna Cosgrove for our third watch, on day two of our grand experiment. Johanna, Guy and Tim run an intense discussion on the musical genre in film, the competing Parisian clown schools and of exactly what Lady Gaga is doing in this movie. Also this episode, we introduce Tim’s eye stye!

Tim and Guy are up against it. It's only the second watch and Guy fears the pair are in too deep a water already. That is a scary prospect for two men looking down the barrel of 12 more watches in just 4 short days. Let us gaze upon the beautiful cinematography and excellent acting of Joker 2 and marvel at how it stills somehow manages to be a really stinky film. Tim offers advice for his friends in the MRA community and swears to all Holy powers above that David Bowie most probably played The Sims.

It’s the first watch and it’s also the most elastic experience of time Guy Montgomery has ever had while sober. Tim is terrified of what has the pair have signed themselves up to for this season upon now seeing the film. Recounting the plot is a seemingly impossible task. This film releasing in cinemas seems, in retrospect, like an impossible outcome. But the inescapable truth is: Movie come out - something need happen.

Live from The Bell House in New York City, home to the Sex and The City gals, Guy and Tim are putting a bow on it in front of a live crowd. The knife is replaced, the Brady v Dickbot fight is ending. It's truly the end of an era. Listen with love in your hearts and hope for the lads as they briefly rest before setting out for one more final season.

Guy and Tim are watching Sex and The City 2 for the second to last time EVER! It's an exciting time, producing a surprisingly low energy episode. Beaten and battle-worn, the lads have allowed the Sandlerverse to pop its head back into the fold and Guy has an insane theory about what background characters on the phone are doing. Whitecliff Jean features, as does Roald Dahl.

Oh boy, the lads are on the floor, beaten down and the ref has started the count. While not quite out of the fight yet, Guy and Tim are severly injured and mentally damaged. How many Hulk Hogans can stop a comet? What is the game of Cub? What is Coffee Guy's true origin? What was King from Tekken? Only one way to find out folks.

Guy and Tim are surrounded by summer. Deciding to open their hearts (and the studio door) to the surrounds welcomes in a bunch of neighbourhood kids cooling off in the pool and the sounds of cicadas. The Knife is also back in the co-host hot seat this week. Regular segments checking in with Brady, Dickbot and everyone's favourite big ideas man, Mr Big combine with discussions on Obama's weed smoking habits, Borat and Jamie Oliver.

The boys have enlisted the assistance of bloody excellent Aussie comedian Becky Lucas (@becky_lucas89) and she has watched the film hung over and emotional. Crying no less than seven times during the film, Becky is bringing some spicy, fair dinkum suggestions to Coffee Guy and Mr Big's Big Book of Ideas. Also on this week's venture; understanding ISIS, sympathy for Carrie and the continuing debate of the Sand Wedge (sandwich?) joke (joke?)

Tim sounds like he's in a box. Why? Because apparently after over 100 episodes, the boys still haven't figured out how to record properly. After disabling his own microphone and having to come through Guy's, Tim is hyped up for The Worst Idea of All Time slummer party. It's a late night viewing and a pitch black podcast record. Another discussion of the 'sand wich' joke, a deep dive into the world of MKP (MPK to the unitiated) and some bold claims about Runkle's acting ability are abound.

This tank is running low on gas folks. But luckily, the end is in sight for our two kiwi battlers. The Church of Noeth(spelling?), the ire of Nicky, the superior swimming skills of Guy - all are on show in this episode. A web-enabled rat super species are now a terrifying possibility and the wedding was probably expensive. ALSO - Guy and Tim are coming back to America for the finale episode.

Tim's in Wellington, Guy's in Christchurch. But one thing won't change: These boys are spending the morning with MPK and four lovely ladies travelling to Abu Dhabi. The mood is low but shining lights still find a way to punch through. The movie's structure is discussed at a length it doesn't deserve and Brady's out to play.
Shout out to Joshua Peters who provided a brand-new outro on this episode.
