August 3, 2016 Kevin Wilkins joined Desiree on the show, when she was broadcasting from WTR Radio. Kevin is incredibly talented writer, innovator, zine maker., skateboarder, husband, father.....a staple in the skateboarding worlds. November 5, I woke to the passing of Kevin after a five year battle with cancer. I should say I and the entire skateboarding community. This show never loaded, quotes from friends included Andy Jenkins, Ed Dominick, Grant Britain and....Thank you Kevin for the gift of working with you, your friendship, support, all the beautiful witty words and all the gifts you shared with us. Desiree welcomed Pep Williams, Dogtown Skateboarder and renowned photographer at the Dash Radio studios where his work form Offset is still on display and a special re-air of Chargers QB Tyrod Taylor. From his first shoot onto runways to Offset, and everywhere in between. In addition, two amazing images which will be going up for sale, before he destroys the files. QB Tyrod Tayler; since his arrival to the Chargers, I have been impressed with his ability on the field, his work ethic and the way he carries himself. I had a few minutes to speak with him. On this day, he was the last one off the field as he continued to do sprints and his own training way after everyone had left the field, personifying what I have taken note of. Desiree welcomed Dashawn Jordan at the Dash Radio studios for the Desiree SHOW on July 15th. Dashawn obviously a phenomenal talent on his board, with character, an unparalleled work ethic and graciousness so much that he has been compared to HOFer to be, WR Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals. We talked about Chandler Park to moving to LA to world wide travel and recognition, he is seeded 5th as of July 15th in the world in street. And yet a test to his character he continues to ride for his hometown shop, Cowtown Skateboards. “What is going to do about getting that kickflip right  (Sinclair) Sinclair approved lol” Talks about blowing up Chase Gabor’s phone to lotion time his lazer flips and a lot more, as well as a new board sponsor ( keep your eyes open for the official released and announcement) which is a perfect fit! I mention it often but its is so awesome to get to know people better, I feel blessed to know Dashawn, truly such an amazing human! The king of pop, company owner, ripping pro skater Matt Miller joined me on The Desiree SHOW at the Dash Radio HQs June 11, 2109. Matt shared the secret to his pop! First board, set up mishaps, how he learned Kick and heel flips on the same day, his mentors, as well as this new amazing product he has founded, Miller Healer. Also, what "Up Dutch" means, Rob Welsh shared a tour memory and Matt filled in the blanks. "Big heart, Big pop - Matt is one of my all time favorite skaters and more importantly, all time favorite humans. I’m thankful I can actually send him a text once in a while. He’s actually been a guest pro for the kids at NMSA a few times. He’s a great example for professional skateboarding. David Reyes joined Desiree on May 28th, 2019 as well as a special appearance by Mike O'Meally and his son Theo at the Dash Radio HQs. David has the gift of impacting all those on his path whether on his board bringing great infectious energy to any session or off of it bringing laughter, smiles and the true gift of friendship to those closest to him. His skating and work ethic phenomenal, as Thrasher photographer Joe Hammeke shared, "One time I went to Colorado to shoot one photo with Ernie Torres and David picked me up at the airport we got the photo with Ernie and then over the next 4 days shot an entire interview with David." He is giving back always, to inspire anyone coming from a similar upbringing, to collaborations with Villalobos a pit bull rescue to being a board member on The Sheckler Foundation and helping to be the change. His creativity also impacts many facets as well, from his board, to a status of tie dying aficionado with a body of work scattered throughout many brands, his mosaics and the entire process of creating them, to designing his sleeves for his Happy Hour Shades, in of course, Broncos colors. Lots of fun conversing with Mike, David and myself, from first boards to Siri, trips and on and on till Theo woke up from his nap. Skateboarding icon and shaper, Don Brown joined Desiree at the Dash Studios on April 9, 2019. Don has a been a vital part of skateboarding in the past 30 plus years, World Champion of Munster in 1989 to being paramount in shaping Etnies, Es Skateboards the entire Sole Tech family from inception. His impact has influenced the skateboarding community, touching all of us with love for skateboarding and people. From Brighton in the UK to Texas and California to the 405 freeway, (yes, he's the one that skated on the freeway and masterminded it!) and started GSD ( Go Skateboarding Day).
