Even though our podcast is directed toward Gen Z, it is important that we all consider the reality and (apart from the Rapture of the saints) inevitability of death. What happens when we die? Is death the end? What about saved people, how much do they know after they die?
Concluding this week regarding Things We Didn't Learn in Bible College, are the aspects of dealing with personal grief and hardships while still in the center of God's will; various aspects of dealing with staff (whether your peers or those you have chosen to work with you); and having long-suffering and forbearance in our preaching and ministering of the Word of God.
Pastor Al & Pastor Dan talk about the intense load that finances bring to the ministry. They also deal with the "peer pressure" of comparing your own preaching with the preaching and the results which other preachers seem to have.
How does a pastor determine when to preach messages that are tough to deliver? Is it sometimes better to just go to the person that brings the message idea to mind rather than deliver it to an entire congregation? Well we have two guys that have some thoughts on that today.
Could it be that some times preachers preach in anger or in attempt to pin point a problem? Dr. Stone and Pastor Wolvin take a very real look at what the aim of preaching should be and sometimes the reality of what it really is.
