Do you long for time to spend with Jesus? Have you found yourself needing a hug from your husband so you feel wanted? Do you feel guilty wishing there was more to your life than wiping noses and doing dishes? Are you drowning in the responsibilities of just being Mom? Do you wonder why your pre-mom routines are no longer working?
I am so excited that you are here! This podcast will help find peace with the time you do have, start rebuilding routines you need to stay sane, invite you to see yourself how God sees you, and find joy in motherhood.
Hi, I’m Cheryl. A wife, mom, ministry leader, and Jesus lover. For years, I struggled to fit myself into the same routines, spiritual habits and identity I had as a newly married woman.
I was frustrated, discouraged and depressed when all I felt at the end of the day was worthless because I couldn’t accomplish all the things I used to be able to do.
I finally realized in trying to meet everyone’s needs except my own, I had forgotten who I was and, if I was going to have any joy in motherhood, I had to discover who I had become.
I had to rediscover my identity, learn how to prioritize my mental, spiritual, and even physical health so I could be the mom my girls needed.
If you’re ready to reclaim your identity, find Jesus in the middle of the dishes, and love yourself like your babies do, this podcast is for you.
Grab your ear pods and start folding laundry, this is Time for Mom.

30 | I Shouldn’t Have to Ask! Communication in Marriage - Mom Life Devotion
Has your husband just stood and watched you work instead of helping?
Did you feel guilty after getting angry at him not helping?
Have you ever wondered why your husband doesn't see the laundry and dishes the way you do?
If so, you’re in the right place.
Hi, I’m Cheryl - Wife, girl mom, and Jesus follower. I learned the not-so-secret ways to become the mom my girls needed by prioritizing Jesus back into life, rejecting mom guilt, and discovering what self-esteem really is. If you’re ready to build faith while washing dishes, rediscover your identity and love yourself like your babies do - grab your earbuds and lock the bathroom door for a minute alone, it’s Time for Mom.
In this episode, I’m sharing the first communication disaster we had in our marriage so you can learn, laugh and grow.
You need to ask for help.
Learn to see things that are important to each other and communicate while you are learning.
Do you ever wonder if we have to learn to see the things that are important to God?
