Do you long for time to spend with Jesus? Have you found yourself needing a hug from your husband so you feel wanted? Do you feel guilty wishing there was more to your life than wiping noses and doing dishes? Are you drowning in the responsibilities of just being Mom? Do you wonder why your pre-mom routines are no longer working? I am so excited that you are here! This podcast will help find peace with the time you do have, start rebuilding routines you need to stay sane, invite you to see yourself how God sees you, and find joy in motherhood. Hi, I’m Cheryl. A wife, mom, ministry leader, and Jesus lover. For years, I struggled to fit myself into the same routines, spiritual habits and identity I had as a newly married woman. I was frustrated, discouraged and depressed when all I felt at the end of the day was worthless because I couldn’t accomplish all the things I used to be able to do. I finally realized in trying to meet everyone’s needs except my own, I had forgotten who I was and, if I was going to have any joy in motherhood, I had to discover who I had become. I had to rediscover my identity, learn how to prioritize my mental, spiritual, and even physical health so I could be the mom my girls needed. If you’re ready to reclaim your identity, find Jesus in the middle of the dishes, and love yourself like your babies do, this podcast is for you. Grab your ear pods and start folding laundry, this is Time for Mom.

32 | Biblical Encouragement When Failure Leads to Blessing - Mom Life Devotion
Today's devotion is based on a hunting experience. If hunting is offensive or triggering for you, please stop and listen to next Friday's devotion.   Have you faced discouragement when your plans failed? Did you do everything right, only to have everything go wrong? Are you at a loss of how to keep going? If so, you’re in the right place.  Hi, I’m Cheryl - Wife, girl mom, and Jesus follower. I learned the not-so-secret ways to become the mom my girls needed by prioritizing Jesus back into life, rejecting mom guilt, and discovering what self-esteem really is. If you’re ready to build faith while washing dishes, rediscover your identity and love yourself like your babies do - grab your earbuds and lock the bathroom door for a minute alone, it’s Time for Mom. In this episode, I’m sharing our complete and utterly failed plans led to a blessing that couldn't have happened without our failure so you can be encouraged when your plans don't work out.  We found ourselves praising God for all the things that didn't work out as planned. We had our plans, but God's purpose that prevailed. God's blessings and provision rarely look like I think they should. Life never happens how I want it to, but that doesn't mean God's hand isn't in the circumstance. God is always in the thick of life with us.
