(PREVIEW) Lowsystem - Echoes Of The Mind [TRM009]
Trauma Collective returns with a commanding techno statement from Lowsystem, unveiling Echoes of the Mind - a four-track EP that traverses the fractured landscapes of consciousness and club ritual. Opening with Finding Reality, a shadow-drenched industrial roller, Lowsystem sets a brooding tone with relentless low-end pulses - the perfect tension-builder for murky warehouse settings. The title track channels the raw, unfiltered energy of early club nights, blending classic techno grooves with an urgent modern edge. Flipping to the B-side, Distorted Perception descends into darker realms - a peak-time arsenal armed with pounding kicks, razor-sharp synth stabs, and intricately swinging hi-hats that shift the dancefloor into hypnotic frenzy. Closing with Cognitive Dissonance, Lowsystem dissolves rhythmic certainty, crafting fractured broken beats and eerie atmospheres that challenge perception and push sonic boundaries. The vinyl edition deepens the experience with a printed insert revealing the artist's creative vision. Also available digitally across all platforms.

(PREVIEW) Codex Empire - Rotten Fodder [TRM008]
Vienna-based producer Mahk Rumbae—one half of the industrial/experimental duo Konstruktivists and the force behind Codex Empire—unleashes his latest EP Rotten Fodder on Trauma Collective. This four-track weapon fuses raw, dark energy with cerebral soundscapes, pushing the limits of both sound design and rhythmic intensity. The EP kicks off with "Oracular Soul," a relentless, pulsating techno opener that sets an uncompromising tone. "Commissioner of Grief" follows, a dystopian “arabesque’’ journey packed with atmospheric tension and heavy beats. On the flip side, 'Force the Tools Available' draws you into razor-sharp industrial breaks that grip and mesmerize from start to finish. Closing it all out is "Maelstrom of Shit," an apocalyptic ride of syncopated drums and chaotic soundscapes, leaving a brutal, lasting impact.

Monrella - Shank [TRM007] A1. Monrella - Shank B1. Monrella - Shank (Force Reaction Remix) B2. Monrella - Shank (Tensal Remix) X1. Monrella – Shank (Tensal Remix 2) Digital Only Release date: 15/03/2024 Formats: 12’’ Vinyl & Digital Birmingham Techno paragon Monrella (Mick Harris) doesn't mess about, returning to Trauma Collective with 'Shank', a no-nonsense cut of heads down 909 techno. His analog production strikes a fine balance between solid groove and industrial rumble as the characteristically dry precussion crunches around a relentless synth stab. Alongside Regis and Surgeon, Harris was an architect of the dark Birmingham sound that blossomed out of club night House of God. He played a key role in the genesis of grindcore in the late 80s as the former drummer of Napalm Death and went on to translate his taste for raw, analog distortion into rugged 4x4 club tools with productions for Regis' ZET label in the mid 90s as Monrella. Several alias projects followed, the broken techno explorations of Fret, beatless dark ambient with Lull and the dub inflected trip-hop / illbient of Scorn. 'Shank' is remixed on the flip by the Berlin-based Force Reaction, a collaborative project from Kwartz and Kaiser, two purveyors of a particularly muscular strain of techno igniting dances across Europe. They last released together on Kaiser's K S R imprint back in 2021 but this is Kwartz's second outing on Trauma Collective after a link up with Monrella on TRM003. Their version introduces reverb and echo to the mix while firmly retaining dancefloor utlity. Rounding up the B-side is a polyrhythmic and densley textured remix from Héctor Sandoval as Tensal. Sandoval is one half of pioneering Spanish techno duo Exium, and he also contributed to ZET back in 2001. Tensal doubles up on this release, dispatching a second remix in the form of a peak-time thumper available as a digital only bonus track.

B1. Groof - Staca TRM006
[TRM006] Groof – Staca Format: Vinyl 140gr & digital Digital Date: 04/11/2022 Cat Number: TRM006 A true veteran of Madrid’s fabled electronic scene, Roberto Gemelín takes the reins for local imprint Trauma Collective’s sixth missive. Known for releases since the late ‘90s on labels as diverse as Minifunk, Nehoma, Warm Up, and his own imprint Brainwaves, he returns with the first vinyl release under the Groof alias in 10 years - the Staca EP. Whether its the industrial-grade broken beats of opener “Take A Break”, or the subterranean snarl of “Command” with its ominous swells underpinned by visceral kicks (perfect for those-heads-down moments) - the A side already showcases the diversity within Gemelín’s sonic repertoire. Over on the flip, he continues his onslaught with the functional and hypnotic title track and continues with the mind game of “Stay Puft”, awash in searing synth textures and mechanised rhythms. Finally "Crash!" slams you against the wall, right from the first beat, on this with this vehemently bruising techno workout. A1. Groof - Take A Break A2. Groof - Command B1. Groof - Staca B2. Sciahri - Hypnotism
[TRM005] Sciahri – Plastic Rain Format: Vinyl 140gr & digital Release Date: 22/04/2022 Cat Number: TRM005 Trauma Collective go out all guns blazing with a fierce offering by ascendant Italian producer Sciahriar Tavakoli aka Sciahri (Sublunar Records/Unknot). The Trauma EP is at once an obviously loyal tribute to the imprint platforming him, while being a visceral soundtrack to the gradual setting in of early morning lights. Wasting no time in exercising his sonic assault, opening cut “Hypnotism” will affect you much like its name suggests on this punishing, splinteredbeat body basher, before pummelling you into submission on the strobed-out warehouse techno epic “Plastic Rain”. He then ventures into the more abrasive shades of texture and gradient on the experimentally minded “Ava” until getting off- the-grid once more with a descent even deeper into the void, on the knackered closer “Dead Waves”.
