As Moses recounts the history of the Israelities on their way to the promised land, he comes to the moment when God, after their years of wandering, tells the people it is time to act. Much like Christians are told we must be active in our walk with God, so the Israelities had to be active in the taking of the transjordan lands.

We continue our study of Deuteronomy, looking at part of the opening of Moses' first sermon. As the leader of the Israelites recounts how the load of so many people was too much for one man to bear, Christians today can use it as a principal in how we should delegate authority to many leaders in the church. This sermon recorded on Sunday, September. 14, 2025.Preaching by Lead Pastor Brett A.
