This is a podcast focusing on all types of true crime: solved cases, unsolved, missing and survivor stories. I became an R.N in 2007 and received my AAS in criminal investigations in 2009 in order to become a SANE nurse. I interned with my father, one of the top Forensic Consultants in the country. I am a DV/SA survivor who fought relentlessly to have my attacker brought to justice. I am a friend to victims who have lost their lives, some received justice and some have not. I've been there as their families fought for their loved ones. Now I want to talk about it & I hope you want to join me!

Deep Dive into the Australian Financial Ponzi Scheme/Crimes of Melissa Caddick *Bonus* 3 Part Holiday Series Part 2

For this weeks case we are heading down under to Australia to talk about the financial schemes/crimes of Miss Melissa Caddick. This is a bonus 3 part series as we take a really Deep Dive into Melissa as a person, her background, her crimes, the victims and the bizarre body part that resulted in her being declared legally dead. But is she? Melissa was responsible for defrauding 72 people. And unlike a lot of other financial or Ponzi schemes NONE of the victims were strangers to Melissa. Quite the opposite. They were all close family members, life long childhood friends and their families. Melissa had a need for a high luxury lifestyle and was perfectly fine with using the money her friends and family worked so hard to earn then entrusted with her to invest for them. Cars, homes, jewelry, purses, travel, all of the stolen money funded these high price items for Melissa. And as these things tend to do, it all came crumbling down on Nov. 11, 2020 when a raid took place at her multi million dollar Dover Heights home. So, when a body part washes ashore several months after the raid took place, people wonder was this another scam? Esp when the condition of the body part and the clothing do not match the timeframe that Melissa had been missing. *** This is a bonus series. Due to the holidays the normal schedule has been switched up a bit. But this is a 3 part Deep Dive that I think you guys are going to love. They will be released one after the other. So, 3 parts in 3 days. *** If you want to help support me and and the podcast, I just recently opened up a "Buy Me a Coffee" account. I will include the link below. Any support would be greatly and much appreciated! https://buymeacoffee.com/tccpodlb
