Alick Sethi ( Music Supervisor - Retox Music Ltd ) He has been a music supervisor for nearly 20 years. Starting as a radio DJ/Producer on his own UK show, he moved into sync by repping small indie labels and unsigned artists for sync deals onto TV commercials and movies. Concentrating on developing markets - Russia, Central Europe, India, and Asia, he soon morphed into a full-service music supervisor - producing composers, performing creative searches, and licensing. Of great importance to Alick is the craftsmanship aspect of this job, which is being able to decipher the nuances of a creative brief, take a poignant image or story, and find the song that will set it up just right for the audience, as the film-maker intended. Akshay Shivpuri ( Founder , Music Curry ) He runs a music supervision agency based in Mumbai, India. Music Curry works as a music curator for Film Makers, Production Houses, OTT’s etc - making sure that the creative and business ends of the process is met.
