Recently, a representative from my state decided to make some slanderous remarks about Orthodoxy in America. What prompted such an action? Well, simply because some Orthodox Christians went to Capitol Hill to oppose U.S. support of the persecution of Orthodoxy in Ukraine. Now he, and other members of Congress, support investigating Orthodox Christians because he suspects they may be spies. This is a grotesque violation of freedom of religion at the very least. In this episode, I want to share this story for the awareness of the general public and, hopefully, to get Representative Wilson to retract his statements - especially since he was so kind as to ignore my email.
