The NBA had a rule that prohibited players from playing in the NBA until after four years after high school, Spencer had only been out of high school for two years. He sued the NBA with the full support of Player/Coach Lenny Wilkens and he won in Supreme Court voiding the NBA Four Year Rule. *Jalen Rose known as one of the Fab 5 of the University of Michigan and played in the NBA and has continued following the game as a Analyst for ESPN and now with TNT covering college basketball games and doing some halftime work during NBA games.
