I think because from the outside: YouTube looks incredibly daunting. --- With creators now like MrBeast and others taking their content to a whole different level... it's easy to just look at it and think "well, we can't match that... so let's not even bother" --- And so in the majority of cases - companies just completely avoid it. --- But here's the thing: --- You don't need a MrBeast (or insert other big name creator) video strategy to win on YouTube as a B2B SaaS/tech company. Nope. --- In fact, in the early days, you can take a very simple lo-fi production approach to YouTube AND still build very strong momentum. --- For this next episode of Video First, I've brought on Ben Toalson to help me tackle some of the common limiting beliefs B2B marketers have around YouTube as a channel.
