This is a FaceBook group that encourages women to be the Queen Esther or Joan of Arc in our current day - for family, community, and nations. She is a prayer leader for Unbound, which is a ministry of healing and deliverance. Her hunger and passion is to see captives set free and know the love of the Father. Today’s witness is from my new friend Caitlyn. I met Caitlyn at an Encounter Ministry Healing Service. We were both in line for the restroom, and we struck up a conversation. I remember her because she was so nice. I also remember her saying she had circled this date on her calendar months ago and had been really looking forward to this night. I usually take video footage of the testimonies we receive, so I don’t always get to pray over people. However, I did not pray over Caitlyn for one of her ailments. I remember thinking about her and wondering if she received the healing she sought. I was bummed that I didn’t get any contact information from her. However, Deacon Joe, the director for the Boston Campus of Encounter Ministries, sent out an email Caitlyn had sent him letting him know of her healing. I shared that email with you on an earlier episode, but today, you get to hear it straight from Caitlyn. I am so excited to share this with you. I want you to pay attention to what she did right before she received the healing. We have all seen God working in our lives. However, we might not all be aware it is God working in our lives. This is why it is so important we start talking about it more. The more we share our experiences, the more people understand how God works and how much He truly loves us. Joseph also went from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to the city of David called Bethlehem, because he was descended from the house and family of David. He went to be registered with Mary, to whom he was engaged and who was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for her to deliver her child. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. In that region there were shepherds living in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. Then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord. Today, I am witnessing about my Christmas 2023. It was a really great time as I got to see a lot of family in a short amount of time. I felt really blessed by this Christmas. Matthew 1:18-25 “This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”). When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And the sons of Israel went up out of the land of Egypt equipped for battle." Today's episode talks about how God may not always take us on the quickest or easiest path to our destination but He does take us on the correct path for us. I thought this was a really good Witness Wednesday for today because I know a lot of you get woken up in the middle of the night, and you're not sure why, and you're not sure what to do. So I just wanted to share this with you and to tell you if you do get woken up in the middle of the night, ask the Lord if there's something specific or someone specific He wants you to pray for.
