Wednesday Challenge - Live A Life Of Gratitude And Trust
“Live a Life of Gratitude and Trust” This challenge is for those of you who know it's been a while since you performed an act of service. That is - you helped someone in need - giving your time, your resources, and even your energy to show kindness and generosity. I am not talking about quick and easy giving - where you hop on a website and put in your credit card to send a donation; I am talking about something that took some actual time and effort and may not have been easy or convenient. If you know this to be true, my challenge for you is to ask God to use you, your skills, and your resources to assist someone that He knows is in need - and expect Him to ensure you cross paths with that individual. When it happens, and you will know when it happens, thank God for the opportunity and keep it going - ask Him to continue to use you as He sees fit. Hit like if this resonates, share it if you agree, and drop a comment - let me know your thoughts! Join us on YouTube and our Podcast on Friday @ 7 pm Pacific, as we explore the topic “Live a Life of Gratitude and Trust”. Bless you.

Let's Discuss - Live A Life Of Gratitude And Trust
“Live a Life of Gratitude and Trust” "Why should I forgive them when they haven't even apologized?" I get it. If you are watching this and are feeling that someone has done you wrong and left you hanging without even acknowledging or apologizing, you may feel like this is grounds for not forgiving them. The truth is that until you have forgiven, you are held captive. It actually takes -work- to hold a posture of unforgiveness. I am not saying you should forget. Of course, we should all keep ourselves safe from harm. I am saying that God can give us the strength to forgive in any situation, and He truly does desire for us to forgive. If someone has wronged you and you can’t find it in your heart to forgive, why not give the situation to God, asking Him to work on your heart to make room for forgiveness? The person who hurt you may never apologize, but your act of forgiveness will allow you to shift from captivity to freedom with God by your side.   Curious to learn more? Wednesday Challenge - Trust God in Difficult Times
“Trust God in Difficult Times” Do you trust God? As in, really trust Him? This challenge is for those of you who are 50/50 on whether you should trust God with a challenging situation you are in right now. I mean, you know what’s best for you, right? Have you considered that God knows every minute detail of your circumstances, everyone involved, and every possible outcome? Have you considered that God knows what is best for you in your situation? My challenge for you is to take the time to bring your situation before God. Share with Him your doubts, including why you hesitate to get Him involved. Be honest and transparent. Don’t be afraid to explain to God why you do or don’t want Him involved. Ask Him to show you what is best and be prepared for His response. Hit like if this resonates, share it if you agree, and drop a comment - let me know your thoughts! Walking in Step with God with Steve McDonald
Let's Discuss - Trust God in Difficult Times
“Trust God in Difficult Times” “I am really struggling right now. Things are hard. Does God even see me? Why is He allowing all of this?” I understand if you are going through a really tough time, it can be difficult to see how God is showing up for you right now. When we are suffering, it can be tempting to think that God does not notice you, let alone care about your suffering. The truth is that God is with you right now at this very moment. He knows every single detail of your circumstances and every individual involved. He knows precisely what is needed for the best possible outcome. He knows infinitely more about what you are dealing with than you do. When we are suffering, the most important thing we can do is to stay close to God. We all have free will, so we can choose to think we will take care of everything, or we can choose to surrender our situation to God, remain in prayer, and praise Him for His influence in advance. If we remain steadfast in prayer, God can and will guide us through our challenges to His perfect will for the situation. Curious to learn more?
